Gokaraju-The College (GRIET)

Curricular activities are good but there are fewer co-curricular activities. They conduct exams in about a months span. They will conduct 2 mid-term examinations for one semester and then after-semester exams. The difficulty of the paper depends upon the subject. On average all the papers are moderate.

Internships are provided very well. On average after completion of 3rd year each month at least 2 companies visit our college. They offer a very good stipend and provide a letter of recommendation or they only provide job to the candidate. To get placed in a company they have to do at least 2 to 3 projects and have good resume and communication skills.

Our college basically provides placements after 3rd year 1st semester. If anyone scored good in previous exams and has talent to do internship they can do it in 2nd year itself. Recently our college visited companies are gap and JP Morgan gap is providing a stipend of 35000 per month and JP Morgan is providing stipend of 75000 per month. The highest package in our college is 18LPA and average package is about 5LPA.

Tution fee for our batch is 122000 and there will be other fees like library fee placement fee and all. Overall to complete btech in our college it takes around 7 lakhs excluding hostel hostel is not there in college. Hostel fee is seperate. Scholarship are provided if a student score in eamcet gets rank below 10000 then there will be full tution fee reembersment or else they get seat from eamcet then upto 35000 reembersment the government will provide.

Fests are very rarely conducted in our college. A fest is conducted in a year and small events will be going on every month. Books are available in the library and enough to prepare for any exam. Our college encourages well for sports and allows us to participate in inter-college sports.

To get into this course one should prepare well for eamcet exam and should clear that by getting more marks. To get into this college and to get the information technology branch one should get a rank below 15000. TS eamcet is conducted once in a year in the month of May. The difficulty of the paper is moderate if you prepare well.

The teaching of the faculty is good. They explain in an understandable way but speed up classes when the semester is about to end. We interact with our faculty about twice a week and if needed more times. They guide us to do projects and help us to complete them on time.
