Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the department because it is one of the best department in the whole college. We have to prepare for assignments presentation in the class . We also do group projects for improvement. The procedure of conduct a exam is also good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Student have to pay near 5000 in a year . But some students who have BPL card they have some extra advantages. And the scholarships are provided. Scholarships like Ishanuday,OBC scholarship, handicapped scholarships are provided in college.
Campus Life
The campus life is good . We have to attend many programs. Like Freshers, Farewell, Mukoli bihu etc. We attend college week which is held on february. The college Library and the departmental libraries are very much useful. Students who are interested in sports they played in the college ground in the evening.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good .The fee is affordable for everyone. And the environment of the hostel is very nice. Students who lived in hostel have some extra priorities. Hostel rooms are clean..and the bathroom cleaning system is good
Admission
The admission process is simple. It is based on percentage. The students who have higher percentage they could easily join the college.there is no entrance examination till now. Darrang college conduct spot admission.
Faculty
Teachers of our department are very friendly. They are active for us every time. The teaching method is also good. They encouraged us in every single time. Professors are very Frank. We also share personal problems, tensions with them.
