Course Curriculum Overview
AI is the future and I don't want to see the future by someone else doing it so I want to study and experience it myself. This was the sole motivation for me to choose this cours. Our coure is too vast that we hardly get time away from the classes. Exams are divided into two as first we have mid-semester and then the final ones. Both are equally important as we can't skip either.
Placement Experience
Training and Placement cell starts giving us inputs from the third year and we are allowed to approach companies from the final year. Google, Microsoft, Apple, Intel and all the blue chip names in AI are there to recruit us. The highest placement at BMS was of 42 Lakhs and average placements stands at 8-10 lakhs a year. The placement percentage stands at 75-80 percent every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is already a little high as 7 and a half lakhs is no less. However, the faculties, the infrastructure, the placements if I combine them all, the college is well within its right to charge this fees. For students who are top 1000 ranked in Comed-K gets 20% off in fees likewise up to 10000 rank students get some concession. Apart from that too there are various scholarships available but since I am from other state I don't qualify for any apart from meritorious scholarship.
Campus Life
Well, the signature or what should I call the cultural festival of BMS is named UTSAV. A name that defines celebrations as the three day event is so joyful that students gets to unwind and get a much needed break. I am connected with Inksanity society which is the debate society of BMSCE. In sports we have lawn tennis courts, basketball courts, open play fields and what not to cheer for.
Admission
Comed-K or JEE score is mandatory and for Data Intelligence you have to rank in highest order as seats are less and demand is the highest. In HSC a minimum of 50% and plus the entrance score is combined and then admissions are alloted. Ours is one of the toughest engineering but I like challenges and hence I am up for it.
Faculty
All the faculties of BMS College of engineering are magic top. They are not at all reluctant even if we ask them the same questions time and again. I have just finished my first year so hard for me to tell the total number of faculties but the ones who taught us in the first year were simply amazing.
