Likes
- The infrastructure is good because they made new building for btech course which have new things, new lab and new devices, class room is clean and benches are in good shape, computer labs has all new gen moniters and computer system for students
- Labs like physics and electronics have new devices for student to find readings for their respective practicals, chemistry lab has all the chemicals and equipment in good shape not broken or destroyed
- Faculty is also good as they initiate and give attention to students and tell them, if any student is interested in any specific field they can do the project writing with the respective subject teacher
Dislikes
- But the area is small so we don't have big ground to play sports or hangout, and we also don't have big auditorium for events and stuff so their is little disappointment about this thing and the faculty also sometimes treat us like we school kids
- As they give lectures about wear I'd cards and their time table also sucks it start from 9 in the morning and end at 5 in the evening this is the thing I hate about college
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is btech cse I chose this course as it had high job opportunities and vast learning option and I have interest in coding and learning about softwars and coding but colleges don't teach us about coding in 1st and 2nd year they teach dumb subjects like maths physics chemistry in whole 1st year then electronics and maths in 2nd year which doesn't have connection with cse or coding so we need to study and so coding ourselves and right now in market demand of cse is getting less because of ai so we need to sharp our skills so we can solve any problem exams are bad rules of exam changes after 1st year and student have hard time coping with that....
Internships Opportunities
For internships students usually have to seek opportunities off-campus only, so as of now we couldn't have internships on-campus which is quite disheartening thing, but according to our professors soon we will be having intership fair at our college so that we can avail the benefits of on-campus internships
Placement Experience
Their is no placement offers in btech cse batch of our college as this is the 1st batch and btech is new in this college. Their is bca placement which is 40lakh per annum and 13lakh avg package. Percentage of student getting placed is quite good as it is 80% . Plans after getting degree is if job placement is good so no further studies otherwies MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Course fees is 5lakhs and external expenses is about 3lakh total 8lakh in 4 years. Their is no scholarship program for entering the college it is enternce exam based college we get this college bye scoring in jee exam. Their is no cmapus employment or jobs for students and their is only responsibility for club activities.
Campus Life
VIPsthec is the technical fest we held and VIPsxtc is the annual fest for students in which they can enjoy different kind of stuff like singing dance and band and they can take part into it to follow their passion. Their is a library in our college and is quite good as it has book related to course and other journals magazines and books from which student can harness their knowledge. Their is sports club in which they held different kind of selection process for different sports. And they also have clubs and societies for dance, acting, music .
Admission
Eligibility for course is 90 percentile in jee mains to get in 1st counseling I got 86 percentiel so I got this college in spot round. application form is on NTA online site and you get the information about the whole test and rules fees is 600rs per exam, and you have to fill the registration form on ggsipu site also for getting itno the counselling. Exam held in two shift you get one time and the centre and date of exam you get on your mail. You can get into college you want by scroing good marks in jee so go for the question you know don't do worng answer and you have to do questions right not more ... like quality over quantity.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is normal as they give enough time to complete the syllabus but we can't complete our syllabus in time which results in leaving 1 unit in every subject to do yourself but their approach to teaching is good and they mentor their student well and the interaction with teachers is easy as they stay in theri cabins which makes the approach easy and they solve the situation in which student is
