Skit whole review about each thing. [READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE TAKING ADMISSION]

The college follows the curriculum as prescribed by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) Kota. In the first everyone has to study the same subjects irrespective of their branches.From second year onwards the students are made to study their core subjects. The course structure is somewhat outdated if we talk about today's industry. So changes need to be in the structure of study with guidance how to apply the knowledge in Technical industrial area. The course is divided into 8 semesters. In each semester there are two mid term exams of 20 marks each and assignments are given of 10 marks. At the end there is the end term exams of 70 marks .The questions come of what they teach in class and are repetitive yearly. So you can easily analyze and prepare yourself BUT the checking is hard and not lineant and many students get back in terms.

The students are able to sit for placements after 5th semester. Majorly mass recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys,Accenture and college's favourite COGNIZANT and local startups come here. In recent times the placement record is very bad and drastic. It is also affected by the recession going on in companies. Nearly 30% students are placed this year which is a very small number. The average package of these students was about 5 lakhs. My plan is to finish my degree and study for exams like CAT ,UPSE as i am not expecting much from this college.

The annual fees is about 1,10,000( 1,00,000+security deposit) and there is end term examination fees of about 2500. In my perspective i think is affordable amount where in today's time many colleges are looting parents hard earned money. Also scholarships are provided on the basis of income level of family,caste and gender for example Samaj Kalyan Scholarship is provided to weaker sections of society BUT if suppose you unfortunately get a back in end term examination then your scholarship is cancelled and you cannot further apply for it.

The name of the annual fest is Pravah which takes place in feb-march .It is a five day fest. There are various clubs if you want to join .Each club has a student coordinator as well a faculty coordinator. The club activities takes place on Wednesdays after 2:30 to 3:30. Talking about the classrooms, this is a thing that is very sad to talk about ,there are no smart board ,only green board is present and old benches are provided without air conditioning. Students are exhausted in summer.

There are 4 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. Out of the 4 boys hostel one is having single rooms having common washroom and other three with twin sharing and separte washrooms.The two hostels of boys are in the campus itself and three outside but in a small range.The girls hostel is inside. There are ducts installed in rooms for air conditioning which are open on a fixed time and 1 hostel of boys have split ac with increased rent. Rent-- 1,00,000 yearly +7000 security deposit for duct having rooms 1,50,000 yearly +7000 security deposit for air conditioning room. You can't go outside or enter the campus beyond 9 pm for boys and 7 pm for girls (which is too short in my opinion). I mean you are in college at least give this much freedom. Also there is attendance taken in night by the wardens here. MANY RULES ARE THERE FOR HOSTELLERS SO IT IS BETTER TO TAKE A PG OR FLAT.

You need to possess subjects of PCM in class 12th .The admission is done on the basis of JEE exam. If you get a percentile of above 50 you can easily get here. You have to apply for admission through REAP counselling which starts after JEE advanced. The counselling process takes almost 2 months. The admission of 85% students are done through reap (70% home state+15% other state) .There is 15% management quota as it is a private college so definitely PLEASE don't prefer management quota here ,apply to a better college if doing so. Things to improve in process-- It takes a very long time. I remember i filled my form in mid june and got admission in late august ie it takes 2 months to complete the procedure and then the semester started on 1st of september.

Every faculty has minimum a master's degree from decent colleges and some are from nits and iit's also .The faculties know what they are teaching and are always there to clear your doubts(most of them) unless you really have a bad luck. The teachers give regular assignment and quizes on regular bases to check students progress and their understanding. But one thing is that the teachers are really strict .They make you complete your assignments and file in time and cut marks according to work. (Strict then the regular school teachers)
