Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects/courses taught were upto the mark but ya the curriculum lacked advanced programming skills. The teaching was fine for the curriculum but i feel it lacked much coding skills. Exams were conducted in monthly basis and final exam was a bit tough and conducted after 4 months into each semester.
Internships Opportunities
Internship in BCA was very limited. It was mostly training based internship with no stipend. So basically they gave us tasks to do or teach us then give tasks. We had to complete those and submit at the end of the day.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees was 3.64 lakhs for 3 years of BCA. 20k was the security deposit which was refunded after 8-9 months of course completion. There wasn't any extra hidden cost. Scholarships were provided to top 2 students in the batch.
Campus Life
Amiphoria was the annual festival of the campus. There were events going on every week or every 2-3 days. The campus is very lively. Library was huge and had tons of books and journals. Each Classroom had smartboards and teachers use those for teaching us. Yes sports like football and cricket are offered. Yes there are multiple student clubs.
Admission
Just had to apply in Amity University. They conducted a online screening test where we had to put a video answering the questions given to us. Application fees was around 1000. Eligibility was Class 12 pass with CS or Maths.
Faculty
There were around 12 faculties in our department. It was kind of fine, multiple subjects were taught by each professors but they are well qualified for those. Faculties had good experience in teaching and their approach was quite fine. They were very approachable and interacted with every students properly and regularly.
