Well course is definately old, college tries to organise workshops and other events but students take a L there as, no one wants to attend them. Well students dont even come to classes and start studing 15 days before end sem, well there is some mistake ofcirriculum too as it isnt able to keep the students curious enough to attent the classes. Lab attendance is always less than 50% where they teach same code for 2 years straight. So they need to make students more indulge in learning which they are doing very bad job at. Well 80 percent of colleges are same in india in that regard, well may be over 80 percent that is

Well companies do come in our college, but the catch is there are 2 colleges of the owner of JECRC - 1st This UNIVERSITY and 2nd is JECRC Foundation so in my field of CSE they merge there both placement and show as one and I fell into that trap too. Most placement happens from Foundation. And last year majority placements happened in non technical field, means NON IT jobs, majority were Sales and call person jobs And in 6th sem they start CRT -College Recruitment Training. All 3 years they wont teach you a thing then will charge you 10000 rs to teach you 3 years worth of engineering in 3 months while taking extra money, isnt it hilarious and company starts mid CRT till end of college You will get placement but see for yourself that are you satisfied in 5 LPA after giving so much of fees.

Well if you are attaining 8 CGPA and above in every sem and if you have already gotten an scholarship from 1 sem i.e, based on your class 12 marks it will continue and if you miss even one time scholarship drops. You can search scholatship slab in college website

Campus life is great well you will enjoy yourselves, there are Sports, various clubs like for Drama, Arts&Literature, Robotics and many more there are many social groups to help different sections of society like - Zarurat which teach poor childerm, Soch - which distrubutes things to needy people, Suhasini - fight for girl child, Ashayein - blood donation group

Nothing, you got money - you got the admission. 12 PCM any percentage No Reservation Admission opens just after boards result come in and even before that, so you can just knock on there doors any time

Many Professors and assistant Professors are graduates of university itself. Faculty to student ratio was good up until last year but last year so many students came as freshies and uni took them all in with out a second thought on space avaialbe in university. Classes were cut down in half to accomodate all student in classes. Some teachers are great and freindly and tbh great mentors but some are just as bad, as happens in society some are good some are bad we cant rate them all with same eye.
