What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructure is good. Student have access to library and IT lab computers all the time.
Teacher are supportive they solve student queries especially my HOD. He is very calm peroson listens us carefully and helps the students.
They take CRT classess for placement aptitude from 2nd year which gives good start.

Dislikes

75 % attendance is mandatory but that is not possible for college students in higher semesters because of internships and other things
They don't give us semester break. Only third Saturday is off.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am from IT department we have 8 semesters and our and we have 5 subject in each semester for first 2 years. Subject are same for all branches in the first year. My college is RGPV affiliated and the syllabus is based on RGPV University syllabus. Other than DSA, DBMS and OS I don't really find the subjects helpful. Especially M1, M2 and M3 I don't like them they are just stressing me out.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are available for OBC and sc st category students. General category students do not get any scholarship. They are relaxation in fee according to schlorship. Student also get admission in very less fee approx 10k if they are selected through TFW and have scored well in their 12th class

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good. Computer labs are available. Students also have the access to library. Fests are organized. There is dj night. Various compititions are held. Students can participate and boost their morale by participating. There are SAC student activity council, NCC and NSS also for students to develop their social skills.

Admission

Admission process is very easy. They will call you multiple times. If you get direct admission you have to pay some registration fee. Faculty is very helpful and provide guidance to students. They will give all the details about college and also give college tour.

Faculty members are supportive they clear doubts encourage students to ask questions and help them fight their stage fear. They also keep asking questions in middle of lecture to check if students are focusing or not.

Placement Experience:

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Jee scores as rankers between 30 to 50k are wlecomed here with open arms. So, on that basis and even the state entrance both are fine. For CSE though, in the bracket that is decided, the top end is reserved for CSE students. Also, our college doesnt have that many branches alright. My college is avarage

I chose this college because I wasn’t getting admission anywhere else. I wanted to get into lnct, but my JEE Main score wasn’t high enough for admission there.
