Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite decent and is upto the mark following the current market standards. It's an autonomous college so the curriculum is designed in such a way that it covers all the fundamentals of Computer Science and covers beyong that as well. Also, it provides a deep understanding of major topics like core fundamentals.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent for the major branches. Computer Science & IT placements are upto 80% and the avg. package is around 5 lac. Multiple companies visit the college like Accenture, TCS etc. and hire a big amount of candidates. Growing startups have also picked few candidates from the college in previous years.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is nominal considering the current market rates. Also, there are multiple scholarships like MMVY which can be availed if you satisfy the criteria. Their is also an option for tution-fee waiver which if you opt for, your tution fee will be waived off but you can only get that when you get good ranks in the entrance exams.
Campus Life
It's really the biggest pro. The amount of college events, activities that take place is really big. So, for extra-curicullur activities, there's ample amount of opportunities. Also, time to time college fests take place which enhances the college life to next level. The campus is really great. There are multiple grounds, buildings, a very big caffeteria, shops like Nescafe etc. are present where you can enjoy the time with your friends a lot.
Admission
The entrance exam for the college is JEE-Mains. The cut-off for getting the Computer Science branch is around 50k. There are many more branches like IT, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Automobile, Chemical etc which you can get with ranks around 70k, 1lac, 1.5lac, 2lac, 2.5lac respectively. In recent years, the college has introduced new branches as well like AI, IOT etc. The admission process is simple. If you have applied in MP-DTE counselling and if you're offered your desired seat, just go to the college and get yourself enrolled.
Faculty
Since it's a govt college, so the faculties are highly educated as most of the post-graduated from reputed institutes and some of them are PHDs as well. Also, it is an autonomous college, so the faculty get the liberty to teach in their own and sometimes they provide breif knowledge of many topics as well.
