Rcet Bhilai - overall review

This is the generation of Computer and AI. As I have a deep interest in this so I choose to do my btech from computer science and engineering. The course includes learning of several programming languages that includes python , java , java script, etc. Proper data structures and algorithms are also included in the course to improve the problem solving capabilities of the students. The improvement needed in the course according to me is there should be a little more depth in the programming languages syllabus to gain some extra knowledge which will be helpful in placements. We have two mid semester before semester end exams. Difficulty is moderate and one can easily get good marks if they study a little.

Companies like tata , amazon , DBS Bank have come up with intership program for roles like assistant developer and backend developer. Sometimes it is paid and sometimes not. Projects like making proper website with a good appearance and using of payment gateways in the websites are been asked to do

This year the college increased ?2000 in tuition fees for training of soft skills . The total fees for the 4 years is ?3,35,000. Scholarships are also provided to the reserved categories fir upto ?20,000.

We have annual fest every year in the month of March-april. Vyom is the name of the fest. There is a huge variety of books in the library to gain extra knowledge in any of the topic. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and the classroom size is good. We have annual sports day every year , different types of sports are being player and the winners are awarded. We have many clubs that are run by students itself. It has a little impact on student's life as it sometimes difficult to manage the clubs

The students who have passed the 12th exams from a recognised board and have given either JEE Main or PET engineering entrance examination are eligible for taking admission into the course. Application form , application fees and application dates can be found on the college's official website. Support team is also there if you need any assistance. The exams are not tough the one who has a knowledge of the topics can easily clear the exams. We have two mid semester exams before the end semester exams. Document verification can be done online from home as it tickets are not available everytime.

There is one faculty after very 50-60 students. Faculties focus on giving more practical knowledge then theories. They even elaborate the topic with projectors if needed. After every unit is completed, we are giving assignments that includes questions that are important from that unit. Anyone with any doubt can simplify standup and ask for the doubts.
