- The campus area is quite large, 222 acres in total
- Good cafes and canteens are already present in the campus a d they are affordable too.
- The seniors are very supportive, they are always ready to help you out in every possible way
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is a quite bit old, ACs are not present in every classroom
- Some professors don't teach properly, they are having a huge amount of knowledge but unable to connect with the students in my point of view
- Rooms for 2nd year boys hostel are small and not adequate for 2 seater
Course Curriculum Overview
Electronics and Communication Engineering is an evergreen branch which made me to choose it instead of CSE. You can go in both software and core domain with the help of this branch. MNNIT Allahabad has now NEP implemented and now there are only few subjects that every branch student has to study. From forst year onwards you start learning about the core field.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are available from starting of 3rd year. It just totally depends on you that how much you are focused for the internships. You have to make projects to stand out in the crowd.
Placement Experience
College placements are hell good here. If you study well during your college life and score above 8 cpi you will be getting a very good job here at the end. 80-90% students gets placed every year. College also provide startup opportunities if you have a good idea and also give you proper funding.
Fees and Financial Aid
For studens belonging to income criteria 1lakhs to 5 lakhs, total fees is 619664, including all fees. Total mess fee is 25k per semester(included in 619664). You will be paying 12k as hostel fees (in 619664) per semester.
Campus Life
Here annual Cultural event is Culrav held around march. Annual Technical event is avishkar held prior to culrav just in the same week. There are various clubs here like music, dance, drama, photography, videograpgy, graphic design etc.
Hostel Facilities
First year hostels are very good. You will feel it as a heaven when leaving the first year hostel. Mess food is also very good, hust you have to like it and have it properly. Mess workers are also friendly in nature. You will feel like a family with them.
Admission
Admission in this course is done through JEE MAINS. You can find form at jee mains website. There will be 2 attempts in a year given to a student. Admission is done through JOSAA counselling. The admission process is quite simple and not too much complex
Faculty
Most of the faculty members are PHD graduates. Most of them are from old IITs like Bombay, Kanpur, Madras, Delhi etc. Faculty members have a very large amount of knowledge in their sector and are ready to help you if you reach them out
