Best college in Jabalpur review (GGITS)

This college follows the curriculum and timetable of RGPV University as it is affiliated with that college. Many colleges in Madhya Pradesh are affiliated with RGPV University, hence the course curriculum has never been a problem here. Yes, one might say that the terms of relevance of the course (especially the first-year course) can be questioned but it is what is taught all over the country. The teaching methods do not require many changes in my opinion.

Companies start offering internships from the 5th sem onwards. Not all students get internship, and that is the bad part. Also the internships should be started earlier in my opinion. Some companies which offer internships are - Cisco, Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, Jio etc.

The placements in this college are decent. The average package is around 4.5 LPA. Students are offers internships after the 5th semester and companies generally start taking students from 6th semester. Also this college has tieups with some well known companies such as Cisco, AWS Academy, Jio etc which provides a lot of help to students.

The fees for a general student without any scholarship for a Btech course (CSE) is 75k per year. There are many central and state scholarships provided in this college. 1. For OBC, SC and ST students the central government provide scholarship of around 20k per year for OBC and 60k per year for SC and ST students. 2. There are also some scholarships exclusively for girls which are provided by the state government. 3. The students who scored 90 percentage or more in their 12th board also get academic scholarship.

The campus life is not that good in this college. The campus is too small. Just 5 acres. But there are two grounds where sports like cricket, football, volleyball and basketball take place. Also there are different clubs like music and dance club, tech club etc which are run by the students only.

The admission process is pretty simple. In other words, its really easy to get into this college. As this college is located in a tier 3 city and is a private college therefore the cut offs are quite low here. A person scoring 50 percentile in JEE MAINS will easily get admission in this college.

The faculty here are good overall as they are well qualified and experienced. Most of the teachers have 15+ years of experience and they are supportive as well. The faculty knows the mindset of the students sitting in the class and therefore they shift their teaching methods accordingly. The faculty to student ratio would be 50:1 and in my opinion it is well balanced.
