Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of management studies being one of the most reputed course in Delhi university. I heard about this course from my friends they were like its the best it's our dream course so the main influence of opting this course came from them. Bms actually helps you in boosting your career its gives a 360 degree knowledge about business, the papers are quite difficult of bms .

Placement Experience

From the 5 th semester students are eligible to apply for the campus placement. There are various companies that visit campus placement the top ones are de shaw india, ernst and young,Delloite, aon,cvent,kpmg,tcs the number of companies that come for canpus placement are 400+. The average package is of 4.8 lakhs and the highest package offered was 21.5 lakhs .

Fees and Financial Aid

The Tution fees of our course is constant from past years. The chances of hike in the course fee are less .the complete cost of the course is ?38490. The college gives 100 % scholarships to the best students or the ones who are eligible.

Campus Life

The annual fest of college known as tatva is held in February. The college is not that good when it comes to fests because college always has funds issue. The library has many ranges of books almost all the useful and university guided books are there. The class has pleasant facilities all the class rooms are equipped with projectors . There are numerous societies in the college.

Admission

First the course eligibility was on the basis of du jat score but now they take admission through cuet the cut off went to 615 marks. The application form is available on the cuet ug website. The exam time is of 2 hours and the difficulty level is medium. You need to have good maths for clearing the entrance

Faculty

The faculty of college is quite experienced. The teachers now have an experience of about 10 to 15 years of teaching. The teachers are quite friendly and they always try to help students in whatever thing they are in trouble they are also lenient on giving internal marks which is a plus point

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college for my course BBA pretty good. The college is also Offers internship opportunities. We can expect an average package of around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum for BBA. The students become eligible for campus placements from fourth semester onward. Some of the companies that have visited our colleges include KPMG Deloitte. The education tree, the highest package that someone got from our college was of around 60 lakhs and the profile offered to him was in finance. Placement Experience:

Well the placement of this campus are not as good as the other colleges well most of the student opt of further education while the one who don't go for post graduation would get an estimate of 300000 per annum well my plans after graduation is to do post graduation which is MBA.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in my college. There are students who call companies to come for the placements. I there are teachers too in the placement cell. But the placement record is not good. In previous years the highest placement hit was 22 lakh in my course . But the ratio of students getting placements is very few.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
