Review from a IT Student

The course of information technology in Harcourt Butler Technical University is one of the best courses offered by the college. The comprehensiveness of this courses not too much as most of the syllabus of this course is quite basic. One who has the basic knowledge about the programming skills will find this course very interesting as well as it will be very productive and the period of time. In the future there is the boom of information Technology so this course proves to be very effective for the future. Many students from this course get placed in various prominent companies which offer a great package to the students. The area of improvement in this course is that the computer labs of the college should be improved. Modern computers as well as various modern equipment should be installed in the labs so that the students may work on competitive programming and projects. Student should be given more project to improve their edge on programming and increase their knowledge about th

From the beginning of the 7th semester the placement process of the college start the begin. Various companies such as Wipro ,TCS ,Samsung etc visits the college for the placement purpose and many students get hired. Percentage of the student who get place is quite good in our college but in this year due to the losses faced by the companies that's why the companies have visited very less colleges. But in that conditions also our college successfully place various students and good companies with an average package of 5 to 6 lakhs and highest package of 44 lakh IT company which visited our college. So this signifies that the placement scenario was not that good this year but it may improve in the following years. In case my scenario after getting the degree from the college I would like to be placed in good company offering handsome amount of salary because of my interest in the IT field. Our college has a best team in the placement cell with guide students for upcoming problems.

The overall fee structure of the college is quite good. But the college does not provide any scholarship of their own. But the students can apply for the scholarship offered by the government which will be a relief for various students. The most popular scholarship of the government which most of the students apply for is scholarship offered by Uttar Pradesh government with provide most of the financial assistance to the on the other hand the tuition fee increase policy was being implemented in the college in the past years the tuition fees of the college has experienced a quite rise. As most of the colleges especially engineering colleges have quite high amount of fees. Which some students find difficult to take admission in that college. The complete cost of the education including the tuition service fees another compulsory charges goes up to 2 or sometimes 3 lakh for year. Which is a quite high number but at the same time in the government provides various relief to students for .

The overall campus life of the college is very good and exciting. The college offers great number of programs as well as fest for the entertainment as well as development of co curricular skills of the students. The college conducts a freshers fest every year managed by the cultural council of the college for welcoming the frehers. The name of the first is "Parichaay". Every year the college organises a sports fest managed by the sports council of the college in which various events related to sports are organised in the college and various other colleges also visit our college for the competitions. The name of this fest is "aadhyay". The college also organises technical fest in which various technical events such as hackathon etc. are organised by the technical sub council of the college. All the sub councils and the councils are managed by the students as well as the faculty numbers which develops up bond between the students as well as the faculty members and improve leadership skil

Facility offered by the hostels of the college was quite decent. The rooms of the hostels arval maintained by the college management and and cleanliness is also good in the hostels but sometimes complaints also come up on the issue of cleanliness. The quality of male served in the mess of the postal hostel is quite good. sanitization is maintained in the mess of the hostels. Food is served for the students in proper time and special meals are also organised for special days. The registration process for the hostel facilities begins after the admissions the students have to register as well as they have to pay the fees of the hostel before joining the college. There are the various rooms and PG available for the student near the college locality the students to find difficulty and staying in hostels stay in the PG according to their needs because the PG are easily available there nearby college premises.

All those students who started non medical as a main stream in their 10 + 2 school. And appeared in the JEE examination are eligible for taking admission in this college. Every year a cut off is set for the students. Do students who will clear the cut off will be admitted in the college. After the result of the JEE examination a students have to fill the application form and as well as deposit the application fees in the college website. Then then the counselling by the college take place after sometime and the students who will get admission in the college will be asked to visit the college for various verifications. The admission process need some improvement on the matter of various verification because many of the times various verifications are delayed which become a difficulty for the student as the become late for the course. The college has good faculty members. The faculty of the college is well-qualified, most of the are PHD degree holders in various fields. Most of them are aged and experienced and they share each and every thing with their students, so that they can build a faculty-student bond. Most of the faculty members of the college are graduated from our college due to which they provide personal as well academic assitance to the students. The mentorship qualties of all the faculty members is very good. They always welcome their fellow students in any type of problems . They also encourage their students to participate is various other things other than academics. The main goal of the faculty in the college is to make their students a good product for the nation, and the faculty of our college are well aware about their goal. They provide assignements to the students to check their capabilty. They deliver the lectures in a very easy and interactive manner by considering the real life examples.
