Likes
- Students often mention their knowledgeable and approachable faculty who create an engaging learning environment through lectures, projects, and practical applications. The up-to-dated curriculum is said to be relevant to industry needs.
- The collage appears to be well-equipped with classrooms, labs with modern equipment, and a spacious library with a vast collection of resources. Sports facilities like playground, basketball and badminton court also available.
- Many source mention NIET's vibrant campus life with events like sports competition, technical and non-technical events, cultural fests. There are also many clubs catering to various interests, enriching social interaction.
Dislikes
- Collage timing is the things which is disliked by everyone because it feel like we are not studying, we are an employee and doing our 9 to 5 job.
- Attendance is another things which is mostly disliked because as per university norms (min. 75%) NIET take extra attendance rule which is 85% and faculty is more strict about attendance.
- Collage doesn't give any kind of freshers party when the first year student take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
As it is autonomous institution so it provides us specialised subject which is only required for us. Not all extra subjects which are tought in university. It also focus on practical based subjects and it also conducts workshops.
Internships Opportunities
In the collage, many companies visited in which some of them offer job as well as intership. Companies like Infosys, Wipro and many more offer internship in various field such as web development, python/java developnent, app develpment and so on, with 3k-10k per month stipend.
Placement Experience
Placement rate is good in NIET. In this collage there is dedicated team that helps students to prepere for and secure placement. In the NIET stiudents are eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. In NIET well-known companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, and many more are visit campus for recruitment. in the batch 2023-2024 the highest package is 58LPA in Microsoft and 6.5LPA is average package. Students have a good chance of landing job with well-established organisations.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is change every year. In my batch (2022) my fee is 159000 for first year and 117000 for the rest three year but now (2024) this fee is increased to 170000 for first year and 145000 for the rest three years. This is the complete cost of your education, including tution fees, library, dresses, and all other service charges. Collage also provide sholarship named 'UP Scholarship' and the amount is based on your category (Gen., OBC.... and so on).
Campus Life
The collage organises various events throughtout the year, incliding sports compititions, non-technical and technical events like coding challenges, abd cultural fests. In the collage there is 6 academic and 5 hostel building. classrooms are comfortable and conducive learning. Labs arewell-maintained with mordern equipment for prctical applications. It has a big library with a large collection of books, the library offers a wide range of books, journals, and online resourdes to support academic pursuits.
Admission
In the collage there is two ways to take admission in the desired course: first one is direct admission, in which you have secured minimum 65% in 10th and 12th board. And the second way is from JEE Mains or JEE Advance in which you need to secured about 2.5lac ranking.
Faculty
Faculty members in NIET are very humble anmd good. They have strong academic background like PhD and having master's degree and good industry experience. Professors provide good guidence and mentorship, fostering student's growth and development. Their style of teaching is friendly. They use digital methods to teach students and give time for doubt session.
