Reality of SKIT

Actually as I'm in my 1st year of BTech here so there is only basic subjects in our course now because all that would be started in 2nd year and I ask among my senior about the course of information technology in 2nd-3rd year they are give reply that the whole course is very much relevant.

There is a mail I'd provided to us by our college in which daily apprx 3 to 4 interships approach to students and some of them provide stipend with about 2000-3000 a month aur work hours are from 9 to 5 and some of the internships not provides the stipend After every year there is a 15-20 days internships program run by our college in which there is no charge for this and you can learn many of the languages or other courses as your wish

The placements of college as I witnessed here are not that good as I here before taking admission here , the students here are eligible from 6th semester for campus placements , don't know much names of companies but, watchguard, TCS, Amazon sometimes visited here the highest package of past year is 41 lakh per annum don't know of this year and average package is 5-6 LPA apprx , Almost 60% students got placed every year My first plan is to take on and off campus and then prepare for GATE. Examinations

The fees structure here is 1 lakh per annum+ 5000 security fees which would be refunded whenever we passed graduation. Now the college is being autonomous so the fees is increased by 25000 for the upcoming students, compulsory charges for us are the 2000 rs for the RTU examination, The college is very helpful towards providing scholarship to each and every students , all the meritorious and lowerd caste have definitely get the scholarship

The overall experience here is 6 out of 10 because the club activities are not that much good as expected before taking the admission in SKIT Majorily there are 2 fest in a year which are ICI fest and another one is PRAVAH which is our annual fest organised by our college and the ICI fest is organised by civil department of our college There are many clubs and societies which are running through out the season but they are not that much active

The experience of hostel is a little bit not worth full as they money rented from us. The facilities provided here is cooler, light fans attached at bath , table and chair for our study , some rooms have balcony in their rooms some don't have that facility Talking about the food provided is 2/10 , literally the taste and quality of food provided is not worth it

The admission process of SKIT is through REAP which is Rajasthan engineering admission process , In which you have to apply on basis of your jee mains exams percentile the cut off here is very fluctuated every year , for example of general category the cutoff for CS branch is 90 above and below 90 and between 85 this is the cut-off for AI branch and below 5 percentile is of Data science branch and below that is for information technology and goes to than electrical, electrnics, electrical, mechanical and civil

The teachers to students ratio is 1:30 which builds the understanding ability among the students, they can understand each and every question very effectively. No doubt the teachers are very concerned about the studies of students The approachability of us towards our teacher is very easy, for example if you don't understand any topic of your class you can ask you doubt in the staff whenever the teachers are free.
