Likes
- Have some great number of laboratories and upto 5 libraries in the college to access any time in the college hours.
- Student teacher relations are very great and teachers will be available for us anytime we needed them irrespective of subject, competiton or any event..
Dislikes
- Teaching standards should be improvise as every student couldn't catchup with the same pace as expected.
- It's co-ed college but there are some stereotypes who don't encourage a girl & boy communicating with each other.So,even though the 2 are classmates coz of the people around they couldn't able to interact.College must teach students about interaction
- No active non-tech and tech clubs in the college there are few just activate when there is a fest or an event.
Course Curriculum Overview
AIML is what I chose, because as simple as that it's on demand right now. When I saw curriculum I thought that it is decent compare to all other options I have it's good and clear. Need to be more practical than just theory teaching as it demotivates and gets bore when u stick on to theoy, should be able to teach innovatively by using real world experiences and real world programming. The timing of exams is better than many colleges it goes in a pace that it needs. Curriculum have some great topics like DBMS, computer networks, web technologies, and programming languages etc.. which are really needed in today's world of programming
Placement Experience
From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements Wipro,Zoho,amara raja,Dixon etc every year 80% gets palced Highest is of 16LPA and average is 5LPA need to focus on gate exam after my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is actually lesser than the colleges which don't even provide some good infrastructure. There's no problem about it. My education costs around 70k. 55k for my tution fee and 10k for my building fee, and remaing expenses are of 5-10k. If you're a student who needs to be in a hostel then it goes around 1Lakh to 1.30Lakhs. For now I didn't took any placements as I am still 2nd year. I am getting govt fee reimbursement (JVD) amount of 55k every year.
Campus Life
Events anually done are:1.JOSH which is recently renamed as SPARK 2. Tecno Blitz is a branch event and every other branch have their own names for it. 3. Freshers party 4. Farewell is celebrated by branches individually There are lot of books provided by the library as we have 5 libraries. Classrooms and technology provided is great. Sports fest is conducted every year by dividing students into houses. There are 3-4 clubs which are really inactive for the moment
Admission
I took ECET entrance exam as I studied diploma in computer engineering. I got 732 branch rank. It was easier to get into this course as my rank is very less. I just selected this college as my first priority coz of financial reasons. I just got it after a 20 days period of time. I just went to admission building and secured my seat which is allocated for me by submitting necessary documents. Admission process is fine there's no need for changes.
Faculty
Faculty and student interaction is basically great. They will be available when ever we need them. But the problem is they don't complete the syllabus on time and which ever the last part of the syllabus, that goes into bin. They do have knowledge they do have potential but there's the skill to teach innovatively is what missing. Apart from all of it they are good people.
