The course bcom hons in accountancy and finance helps a lot in firld of commerce and finance. It helps with courses such as ca,cfa etc. Also gives an insight for mba in finance. The curriculum helps in real life too as this course has a lot of potential.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 48000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is fine as concered with the roi as many stidents after this course will aplly for other professional courses or stand alone this course helps in higher return. There are scholarships available too.

Campus Life

There are a lot of clubs in the college starting form dance debate singing drama and lot more. There is also e-cell for entrepreneurship enthusiasts. The college also has ncc and nss. The camous has a well equipped library with books ranging to all the courses

Admission

The cutoff was 80 above for cbse students in class 12 with commerce background. The admission process was smooth and the admission form is available on the college website along. The frequency of exam is one exam per semester in a gap of 6months.

Faculty

The faculty is really helpful and we can interact with the professors whenever needed. There are experienced professors who helps us to ace our exams and make our college life better. Their approach of teaching makes learong easy

Placement Experience:

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Good for studying but should improve for recruitment

The application form is available on the college website and every other detail regarding fees and application date is available there.
