In first year you will have to study a lot of such things which you'll never need in real life , for eg I have so many such subjects like workshop in which we are supposed to do welding and such stuff and subjects like engineering graphics related to drawing projections , perspectives, shapes , solids sections and what not . As I have already told exams are held 2 times in the college itself by name mid sem 1 and mid sem 2 and then you'll have external practical and then final end sem in another ipu college . Difficultly is moderate in mid sems but in end sem you have to study . In mid sems teacher pass kr dete hai !

Mock interviews are also held to help students before the actual interviews takes place . Placements are good , students gets places and get good enough packages . Highest package is in crores like 1.7 Cr or something whereas average package is nearly 8-9 lpa . So many famous companies come to our college like Amazon , Accenture , Google (in 2023) , zs associates and such high pay offering companies . Majority of students gets placed ! If not , off campus placements are not that bad like if you have really good set of skills you can beat the off-campus placements getting a package higher than campus-placement .

The fees for my first year Btech(IT) is 1 lakh 60 thousand . Now in second year it may increase or decrease . And there is no reduction for EWS category in our college , in a few IPU colleges there is recession for EWS but not in MSIT , and in our college the seniors are pretty much active about internships and all and are achieving too good, so good networking is very important to get good results in our college . And by getting into societies you get a lot of opportunities to network , to explore , learn and a lot because societies are pretty much active and they all are friendly and seniors are always ready to help whenever you need . Campus employment is good too because MSIT comes in top IPU colleges and placements are too good if you've worked hard on yourself like having a good filled resume , complete knowledge , good communication skills and etc etc

Avensis , genesis , are a few fests (Avensis is organised by MSI not MSIT ) , so many other fests are organised too like ENVA held in February-march , and events like navrang for dandiya , tech fests , ethnics day , and what not ! Even tho not too famous artists were there in the fest but still it was too good . In library so many almost all reference books are available whereas on important thing I would like to mention is that our college provides free books for each semester which we have to return when semester ends but for whole semester books are provided if you wanna take them , take them or else it's not necessary . And from library you can borrow any book for a month ig after that one has to get it reissued . Sports are not too much but a few teams of volleyball , football are there , we don't have basketball court but a huge ground for any other sport where boys do play a lot like cricket , football , and we have a badminton court too and also a sports room.w table tennis

To enter this college one need to give JEE mains exam and have a good rank , like I got into MSIT without any reservation (general category ) and my rank was 1 lac 21k in jee mains 2023 , and even in cse ppl with this much rank were there max this much rank and there were students' with 7 lac rank or near with SC/ST quota in IT/CSE . There is reservation of seats in our college

Faculties are hardworking , they'll give their full efforts if you'll show them interest , but the things is no body really pays attention to them so they have to just go with the flow , like teach for formality but they do really well , motivate you to study , tell you that it's not good to mass bunk everytime , they all are well qualified in their respective subjects and have really good knowledge . And anyone can go to their cabin if they have any type of issue about anything so it's really good . And until now I have got good teachers who are easy to talk with , you can easily communicate with them and they are pretty much friendly .
