Likes
- Unity in diversity is what I have seen here as students from various sects, religions can be found here but all of them stay together as if they know each other since ages.
- BMSCE has the best labs and most innovative infrastructure to accomodate any new things that comes over in the world of technology.
- BMSCE has Socrates kind of faculties who will keep asking do you have any doubts left, I have not seen such faculties else where.
Dislikes
- Too compact and that's the only issue as we need some breathing space but that is sparse at BMSCE.
Course Curriculum Overview
Engineering was obviously a dream that i saw when I was 5 years old. Data science and AI are the latest additions and I don't want to stay behind in the rat race and hence I chose this course. First year we had mechanical and checmial subjects too and this was disheartening as they were of no use but 1st year is common, we had to study those subjects too.
Placement Experience
This rule that unless you enter the penultimate semester you can't sit for interviews is honestly disheartening. Many companies like nearly 100 companies who wants to integrate AI have started approaching BMSCE as they know that our college produces the top engineers.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well because I was a ranker in Comed-K I got 40% scholarships and hence the fees which is originally 3 lakhs, I just had to pay 1.8 lakhs. Similarly students who did well in state entrance exams gor even more scholarships.
Campus Life
BMSCE is full of festive activities as we had freshers this year and our seniors gave us a welcoming party. Campus don't have much sporting facilties apart from some indoor games like table tennis, and chess among others.
Admission
Entrance and nothing else as without entrance one can't enter a top colleges like BMSCE, it's as simple as that. Beyond that one has to have 60+ in PCM otherwise also they are not eligible for course. For reserved category cut-offs were obviously low but still good enough as only top students get to study at top colleges like BMSCE.
Faculty
Faculties aren't just amazing but charming too as they I believe know some kind of spells. How to bring best out from everyone is their main forte. I love interacting with them as their aura is something that one can never have enough of them.
