Course Curriculum Overview
One of the major aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is that it is one the best colleges that provides this course. The curriculum is very good in that it keeps us updated on the upcoming technologies and the skills for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. An area of improvement in the course curriculum and teaching method is that they can provide more industrial visits and can give more knowledge about what we are going to do in our upcoming careers. The exams are not that difficult but the frequency of taking exams is very fast. The semester ends in just 4-5 months
Internships Opportunities
Interships are provided to the students. There are many companies such as Amazon, Walmart, etc provides internships to the students at a good stipend. The tasks are of backend developer, Android developer, HR( human resource), Sales etc along with projects of 2-6 months
Placement Experience
From 6th semesters students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Infosys, Accenture etc visits every year and offers approximately 20lakhs to 50lakhs. Highest package is of 50lakhs and average package is of 6 to 7lakhs per year. 96% students placement is there. My plan is to be in a good company like Amazon or Microsoft in the field of software development.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution doesn't increase very rapidly but their is a hike after 2 to 3 years. The total cost of education including hostel charges are approximately 13 lakhs. Scholarship is provided by the central government for financial support every year. Campus provides internships and many other skills for the job roles.
Campus Life
The college organise annual fests every year in the name of Genero. Alongwith many events and activities on monthly basis. There is a wide range of books and journals available in the college Library. Smart classes are there in the college with proper technologies. Many sports and extracurricular activities are offered on campus. Every year there is an annual sports fest in the college called Utsaah. There are many clubs and societies in the college that are run by the students of the college that helps them to improve their level of confidence and self development.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is just average. Meals are not that delicious and menu is quite disappointing. Registration process for hostel is available in the college campus only. Cost of affording hostel is quite high and every year the charges of hostel keeps on increasing with an amount of 10 to 15 thousands per year. Many PGs and rented rooms are available nearby the college.
Admission
Above 75% in 12th and more than 70 percentile in jee mains. Application form, application fees and application dates everything is available on the website of the college. Yes reservation benifits are available. One to one interaction should be increased as well as proper counseling of each and every student.
Faculty
The faculty members are just amazing. They are highly qualified and skilled. Most of them are IIT/IIMS pass-out. Their way of teaching is very good and the way they explain things are quite interesting and nice.
