Course Curriculum Overview
As I'm in first year, I'd say that the curriculum till now is pretty much the same as in other institutes. The syllabus is precise and not big semester wise. There are 2 mid exams each of 15 marks and 5 quizes of 4 marks each of every subject in each semester and a 30 marks end semester exam. The exams are not difficult if you have prepared well and paid attention in classes according to me. The curriculum prepares you for other examinations well enough. The class rooms are equipped with projectors and speakers to engage students in interactive teaching.
Internships Opportunities
As a first year student, I don't really know about internships, projects, stipends, so i would prefer not to comment on this topic But, from my seniors i do know they provide internships, projects and industrial visits.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester as far as I know. As I'm in first year i don't have much knowledge on placements so I can't comment on it. My plans after getting a degree is to get a good yielding job or going abroad for higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee hikes 8% every year. The fees of my course per year right now is 3.7 lacs with 1.8L for quad share AC room in hostel. You can get scholarship if you secure good marks in gitam admission test. You can also apply for scholarship based merit, sports, siblings etc. you can volunteer in events taking place in the campus. Although you won't be paid but it's still a good experience
Campus Life
The flagship campus event is Pramana which is held in the month of February. It is a 3 day event consisting of various students and artist performances and a lot more. There's a 3 storey library consisting of a large amounts of textbooks, reference books, journals and novels. You can almost everything for your aid in it. Most of the classrooms are equipped with ACs and smart classes. Regular sporting events including inter and intra-colleges are held. There are dedicated grounds for football, cricket, courts for tennis badminton, kabaddi. There's also a football turf. You can choose among various student interests group as per your choice such as GDSC, g-electra (technical club), kalakriti(cultural club), cy-sec(cyber security and IT) and a lot more.
Hostel Facilities
There are double triple and quad sharing AC rooms, and triple and quad sharing non ac rooms. The rooms are pretty average keeping in mind what they cost. The quality of food in hostel mess is far better than any other colleges I can think of. The menu has variety and quantity. The mess is well maintained and cleaned after every meal. Meal is provided 4 times a day with strict timings.
Admission
You can give GAT for admissions and availing scholarships. Also you can get admission based on your JEE percentile. The exams are frequent consisting of mid terms, quizzes, end sem. They are not difficult. I think the admission process should be a tad bit more selective and strict
Faculty
There is an adequate number of faculty in the college. You can approach them anytime In their designated staff rooms. As per my expectations, most of the faculty is very friendly and coordinating. You might face a bit of language barrier with some of them but it's fine as long as you're fluent in English. They are eager to listen and solve your doubts.
