- The best part about GITAM is that there are students from all over india and even abroad. This provides a very varied atmosphere
- Secondly the infrastructure is very good. There are different blocks for each department and the classrooms are equipped with airconditioners.
- All the faculties are highly qualified and are always available to help the students.
Dislikes
- The location of our college campus is at a far distance from the city which makes it difficult for the commuting students.
- The sports facilities are not well maintained and even the canteens are unhygienic.
Course Curriculum Overview
BTech in CSE is a highly demanding course and the college faculties also know its importance. Hence they have introduced new and latest teaching methods eliminating the old ways of learning. But the one thing that bothers the students is the exam timings and frequencies.
Placement Experience
Keeping in mind the fees being taken from the students, the placement of the college is below par. On the internet it was shown that the average placement is about 6 to 7 LPA. But when we discussed with our seniors, we came to know that the college placement and rates has gone down.
Fees and Financial Aid
14,90,000 is not a small amount for education. Compared to other private colleges, the fees is quite high. Also there is an increment of 3% of fees every semester which is really wild. But keeping in mind, the facilities which are provided, one can give the fees.
Campus Life
As mentioned earlier the campus life is very lively and energetic. Also students from different cities are present which creates a varied atmosphere. Also the fests and celebrations are really good and positive.
Admission
The admission process was really easy. I just had to apply for the seat and a scholarship test was taken. To reserve my seat, I had to pay the first semester's fees. After this i sat for the exam and my admission was completed. After a week i got my call letter.
Faculty
As far as i have interacted with the faculties, i have mostly seen them with pHd degres and masters from good colleges. But the only negative feedback i have about them is the language barrier. Mostly they converse in english but often switch to their local language- telugu which makes it difficult for the rest of the students.
