Likes
- Firstly, is the DJLHC or The Diamond Jubilee Lecture Hall Complex, the place where all classes and events takes place. It's fully air conditioned and lecture hall is quite large having capacity of about 150 students. Also there are some virtual rooms
- Second is the Up's where we have badminton, tennis, basketball and volleyball court and also an open gym.
- Next is hostels its among one of the colleges that rarely provides single room from second year of course its the beat thing.
Dislikes
- Open campus, its not a closed campus there is a small village behind college whose entry and exit is through college main gate
- Infrastructure is not well maintained you will see tall tall grasses along pathway which are not properly trimmed
Course Curriculum Overview
College follows the old traditional syllabus that is being followed from a long ago. However some modern technologies are also taught via various technical clubs and workshops organised by our seniors.
Placement Experience
Placements here are outstanding almsost 97-98 students gets placed every year and talking of my branch that is mechanical the placement record is 100% in last two years. Few students do not participate in placement program as they choose to study ahead and go for their Masters degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fee you can find in college website. Our college provides financial assistance to needed individuals. It provides full fee remmision to SC/ST students. Also the students whose annual family income is less than 1lacks are provided full fee remission, those whose income is between 1-6 lacks are provided 2/3rd fee remission. This fee rmission based on income is irrespective of the category. Note, full remmision means your full tution fee is wavered but you have to pay hostel and mess fee same goes with 2/3rd remmision means 2/3 fee waiver on tution fee rest you have to pay.
Campus Life
Our college organises 3 majour fests namely URJA the sports fest, CULFEST the cultural fest and The OJASS, the technical fest. There is a central Library occupied with all the book one needs. There are various technical clubs which are active throughout the year.
Hostel Facilities
In first year boys are privided with two seater room. It has two bed, two cupboard, a table and a chair. One has to bring his own mattress it is not provided by the college. Mess is inside hostel which serves 4 times a day. Quality of food is ok not very good but edible on regular days.
Admission
One has to clear JEE Mains exam with required cutoff to get admission in this institution. And seat is allocated via JOSSA counselling. One can find branch wise cutoff in college website it's mentioned there.
Faculty
Faculties here are well qualified and highly experienced. There is no such communication gap among the faculty and student, faculties support us wherever or whenever needed. Some faculties are so friendly that they come to play with us in evening like tennis or volleyball.
