Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a little bit vast and follows the AKTU curriculum. However, advancing teaching methods provided in college make it easier to understand. The college also provides training sessions which are very useful for being industrial ready. Monthly sessionals are conducted. Weekly we have to submit assignments.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are started from the second year onwards for eligible students stated by companies. Recently we got opportunities for summer internships in JP Morgan Chase &co. Companies often visit college campuses. The college also provides industrial visits.
Placement Experience
Placements are excellent. I took admission because of placements. The highest package offered by Palo Alto is 58 lakhs. The average package offered is about 7 lakhs. Almost every student gets placed in a reputed company. Internship opportunities are also provided from second year onwards. Overall placement opportunities are very decent. Big companies like Palo Alto, Amazon, Flipkart, etc often visit.
Fees and Financial Aid
Btech is a 4-year course. Yearly fees are about 151000. Fees decrease from the second year onwards. No additional training charges are there. Scholarships are provided to students who took admission through counseling (JEE)and should reside in Uttar Pradesh.
Campus Life
Talking about campus life it is quite hectic but overall it is good. There are many active clubs including coding clubs which organise coding events like hackathon etc. Annually freshers party is organised. Sports and extra curricular activities are well equipped. Social club is also there which give us great exposure.
Admission
We can take admissions through two modes. 1) Direct admission - admission based on 12th percentage. Eligibility of computer science is about 95%+. 2) Counselling - admission through JEE Mains Cuttoff- 95 percentile for the computer science branch. The admission procedure is quite long. Reservation benefits for quota students are available.
Faculty
Faculties are highly educated. Most of them are of IIT And PhD background. Faculties are very supportive and understanding. We can approach and interact to them anytime . They also provide us additional knowledge beyond course curriculum.
