Forensic science is a very interesting course you get to learn about a little bit of everything there is. The course has both theoretical and practical uses being taught. Although it might seem there is not much scope in the field as you need a lot of experience to get a good post/job you can crack government exams. There are 3 exams per semester 1st mid term, 2nd mid term and end semester examination

Internship is provided by department starting from 5th semester in government forensic science laboratories all across india. For placements there are no companies for forensic science specifically that will provide placement

There is scholarship available at the time of admission, if you have scored above 75% in your 12th boards you get 25% scholarship on your fee for the entire course. The fee for hostel increases by 10% every year so keep that in mind.

There is an annual fest of the college called 'panache' it is usually held in March, its a 3 day long event with sports games and celebrity night. There are 2 libraries on campus. 22 clubs present in the college like NCC, NSS bsng etc

I opted for hostel in first year but after the conditions we decided to leave the hostel and move to a rented flat just 3km away from college. The hostel accomodation is not worth the fee they take and food is also not good

Eligibility is 10+2 and an entrance exam AIFSET which you just need to clear by passing to get admission in college. Everything is available on google once you type AIFSET or just on the college website. The exam is held almost from may to December whenever you want to take admission

There are about 10 faculties in our department. Mostly all faculties are M.Sc graduates and some are phd. There are also FACT and NET cleared teachers. Teachers are easily approachable you can reach them any time you want
