The goods and bads of VIT

The course are like good for example I opted for BTECH CSE core and it's trending in world that's why and vit has a good placement record better than many IITs and nits that's why. Okay so curriculum is based upon the subjects and I guess it's quite good like they take each step at a time from basics to advanced so it really helps with that pov . Teaching methods should be improved for sure like teachers should understand how to teach a student . The frequency of exams is quite close close one month gap only and there is so much stress bcz of exams so much and difficulty level is medium

My total fees is 18lakhs for four years in BTECH CSE CORE including hostel and fees and there are then very minor minor charges for essentials. You have to go through viteee exams and based on the rank there are 5categories cat1- 1lakh per year and more good ranks also gets scholarships cat2 is 3lakhs per year .cat3 is 5lakh per year cat4 is 6lakhs and cat 7 is 7lakh per year

Trust me campus life is good and not good too I mean I feel lonely..but there are many clubs and chapters. Library is amazing trust me there are so many books in library like uncountable and library is very fabulous...with AC everywhere and it feels great to be in library. Classrooms are not much hi tech how ever there are many smartclasseoms though bt they are used for guest kevtures otherwise classrooms are normal not good bt smart boards are there . Sports and all are everything paid you have to pay for badminton swimming gym table tennis everything.. there are many social groups and many clubs and chapters and yeah it's so great nd refreshing everyday some events are happening in every corner or place in campus so yeah it helps to keep us cheering in the campus

Hostel is so greatt ..I mean there are various hostels based on one's affordability and I'm in the expensive one so hostel is fabulous Q BLOCK feels like hotel though. Hostel has free wifi nice washrooms and separate for washing..laundary services.paid mess general store6liftscleaning service AC ROOMS 2bed 3bed 4bed and 8bed type rooms Meal quality is active sllt nice very nice seriously you can get bored of daily smwr routine but on general the taste and variety options is very good seriouslybreakfast lunch snacks and dinner food is awesome trust me. Okay so registration process is all online after your tution fees gets deposited you can opt for hostel within dates available and see there are differnt bedded type rooms so it is affordable based on one's preference

There is that VITEEE EXAM fr addmision in vit. you have to fill the form online and then issuelosyate. viteee happens in two slots two times .and exam level is difficult a bit. you need to get under 1000 rank for getting car core in Category 1 fees . No reservation is allowed but yes Jammu Kashmir students and north east students has some reservation in eligibility criteri kma. You need to score atleast 55% in pcm to qualify

Okay so the faculty to student ratio must be around 70 for one which is kind of okay okay like we don't face any problem with this. Okay main thing teachers here are mostly research oriented based. Many of them lack teaching skills...they are good in researches. Teachers mostly are from south so whole teaching is in English bt that's not issue but yeah teachers are mostly qualified and have done great researches in their field but teaching skills is a issue . Students do interact with teacher but not much I'm talking about in general..some teachers are very good so I do interact with teachers ina about two or three days . Btw each student is assigned one teacher named as Proctor and we can interact with him whenever we want. He is like our personal guidance teacher
