- NHCE is one of the toughest college as the college with strictest attendance and above that markings in internals are also tough to get. This makes student work hard to the throat.
- Socially one can learn a lot from here as not just from southern states but we have 20-25% crowd from northern and western states of India.
- Placements are close to 100% here for CSE branch and also this one of the top paid branches of NHCE.
Course Curriculum Overview
Look new courses such as machine learning and AI has drawn more interests but in CSE too we are taught similar things and therefore I chose CSE. Also, it is arguably everywhere the most highest paid branch so I have taken the best decision by choosing this branch. Studies are too tough here but I don't want that to be changed as becoming an engineer should never be easy in my books.
Placement Experience
Placements are amazing here and all the students of final year gets a fair shot as the students who purposely don't want a job are respected but those who want job are made to give at least 4-5 interviews. Students gets placed and those who are left a mass placements is organised for them so that every students have a job in their hand.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is slightly high but outsiders don't get much benefit but students from Karnataka have all the right to apply for scholarships as there are a range of scholarships that NHCE provides. The scholarships department themselves keep a track of our scores and if we are in the bracket of merit, we get scholarships automatically.
Campus Life
There are indeed too many activities, clubs, and fests and but the main star fests are Revelations and Sargam. In sports we have numerous facilities and basketball is one of th most decorated sports here as we have two basketball courts and students who are interested are taken seriously as NHCE students have won titles in Basketball for a decade now.
Admission
Apart from qualifying through entrance there's no other way. Comed-K is what is a compulsory or should I say mandatory for getting in top engineering colleges of Karnataka. The reserved students cut-off is lesser than that of open category students and their quota is close to 30%.
Faculty
Faculties are dynamic and are of the most educated creatures of this planet. All are doctorate and have done so much of research that they are not just adept but are too well versed with the subjects that they teach.
