Course Curriculum Overview

I took this course because to become a sailor was my childhood passion. The course teaches all the aspects and rules to be followed while working as a sailor. The teaching methods are excellent and considers every single students.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 325000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

First you have to clear IMU CET to get admissikn in HIMT college. The total fees is around 9 lakhs due to the hostel stay, food, course fees and laundry. You can get student loans for paying fees. Placements are excellent compared to any other maritine colleges.

Campus Life

Campus life is very enjoyabl, especially hostel life. There are committees for every aspects like Galley, Sports, Safety,Band, Event, External affairs etc. These committees are run by students only. Every one will get duties according to their respective committees.

Admission

Admission process is fast and accurate, application form is available on HIMT official site and the fees structure and any other details are available on the official site. Exams are conducted on sem end and will have adequate study leave to prepare.

Faculty

Excellent and well experienced faculties, they teach the ways how they worked onboard ship. The faculties teach us with well made teaching materials. They very often interact with us. They also work with us on the projects and seminars and help the students get college placements.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.

In fifth semester,They provide placement for students. Mr.cooper, Accenture, Sutherland etc these are the companies visited for placement. Average package is 4lakhs per annum and 75% of students applied for placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is a famous one and it is studied by many higher officials. The faculty is very good and talented, students ratio is 500:900. All teachers were educated by Ph.D. and each teacher has their own capability. Exam papers are very good and were easy to pass the since where questions were interactive.
