Bitter truth

I just love philosophy and sociology. For that reason i go for this course only for that reason i got influenced to choose Bachelor of arts inspite of any other course This course also helps to go deep into the subject to study its nature and scope. Which help the student to learn more and more about the topic. If we talk about Further academic pursuits there is a huge variety of scope Like MA, MBA etc. one can go for MBA or go for MA anything which he or she thinks has a vibe scope in. The course curriculum is good.. but also it should include some additional trainings or teaching. Where students develop any skill which further helps them to provide any employment.. The exams are not difficult they are so lengthy like for example we have to write 5 answers which has a marking of 12 numbers. So for that we need to write 5-6 pages per question to got even 9-10 marks.

The fee is not that high and if they got a hike it hikes only a bit. The complete cost of my degree would be 40,000 it includes tuition and service fee, and other compulsory charges. University does give scholarships but it only gives to persons who have categories for example schedule cast, schedule tribes. There are no job roles provided at the University there are also no stipend awards given to students they only give responsibilities like CR'S or clubs membership to students.

University organises many festivals like display your talent. For fine arts, literacy, music, theatricals, dance etc. It also organised mitti-di-khushboo which is an event featuring folk music and dance of jammu and kashmir. The library is soo big here and also there are variety of journals and books available in the library. The classess are welll equipped by speakers and projects with white board. Sports and extracurricular activities offered on the campus has also a variety it also has cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, kabadi, athletic, long jump, table tennis, bedminton etc.

Hostel rooms are basic here. you just got bed with mattress, a almirah, a table with chair. you have to use the common washroom and toilet. The meals provided there are good. They are also tasty. If you want anything else you can simply order that from the live kitchen and you will get the ordered food after you will pay the ordered food charges. Registration process for the hostel is like first come first get because the hostel rooms are minimum and also the hostel charges are minimum so they have to give the hostel on first come first get basis. I am a local resident so i dont get any need to rent a room and a pg But most of the pg's are available near by Also rooms are available also. You can also go to kacchi chawni or pacca danga if you want good pg or rooms.

When i gave my 12th exam. I just got a admission without any entrance exam. I got admission on the basis of my 12th result. There were few shortlisting if we got our name in that list we got admission else we have to take admission to any GDC because they were come under University of jammu. But now you have to give CUET-UG paper to take admission in this. CUET-UG is also important exam here because you will not get any college if you will not go for this exam. Also there are some reservation benifits to the candidates who have reservations under the category system. The exams comes twice a semester which we can call them mid sem as well as end sem... Admission should be quick...this requires a lot of time to happen...which makes it a bit slow process.

The faculty is Highly qualified.. thus it impacts a good learning experience to the student. Doubt solving of students is also so good and teachers take this seriously as this impacts the upliftment of students. The faculty's credentials and their approach to teaching and mentorship is also so good. As the teachers are so highly qualified. This makes them so productive.. We do interact with teachers on the regular basis and the approach ability of teachers is also easy..
