Course Curriculum Overview
The reason for choosing the course was it's relevance with what today's world needs. The course I'm pursuing is Ancient Indian history culture, in this subject we have 6 papers in one paper we've to learn about the culture, religion and origin of Varanasi. This is certainly a very good idea to include it in the course.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are open for everyone. French department collaborates with Government of India for various internship and events. Average pay scale of intership is 2000/- per month. Sometimes students can get more than that.
Placement Experience
You're eligible for campus placement from third year or fifth semester. Department of French has very good placement in our college. About 70% of the students get placement. My plans after graduation is to pursue Post graduation along with internship
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is also very affordable. Like it's only Rs 10000/- for UG courses. 500 is taken extra if you've practical subjects like home science or geography, phshycology. Complete cost of graduation will be Rs 30000/- . There are various scholarships available for students. Internship offers are also given to us.
Campus Life
Since the college is affiliated with Banaras Hindu University, fest and events are mainly organised in main campus. Library facility is very good . We can find various number of books and journals. Every morning we can find newspaper out of the Library There are number of student run clubs in college through which we can develop our social skills.
Admission
To be eligible for admissions, one must qualify class 12th examination with minimum 50% . Admissions are taken on the basis of CUET examination scores. CUET is common entrance examination test which is conducted every year around April -May for admission in various central or state university.
Faculty
Class strength is generally 60 students but varies from subject to subject. Like Department of English has more number of students. Faculty ratio is also good. For every subject there are minimum of 5 professors excluding HOD. Approach of teaching of faculties is also praiseworthy. They know how to handle students. Interactive and mentorship sessions are also conducted every week to increase communication between students and teachers.
