LIFE AT JNTU ANANTAPUR

Jntu provides courses which are common for many institutions but the difference is that , jntu doesnt provide any specilaization like aiml (artificial intelligence),ds (data science),cyb (cyber security) etc . jntu collage of engineering not only provides ug programes but also different couces like pg,medicals along with dual degree .Being in the competetive world modern technology cources are much needed to sustain in competetion. i feel it was old model which should be upadted in coming years.some irrelavent topics even included in first year like engineering graphics.even cse students are made to learn other cources like mechanical and civil subjects . i feel this curriculum should be changed in coming years.

coming to placements ,jntu provides various oppourtines and decent placement . ofcource the average is much low but it is very decent with respect to fees we are paying for. highest package was 20 lpa and average is 6 lpa . percentage of students placed is around 75 percent.

Jntu is well known for quality education with respect to the fees we are paying for . in the era of private institutions many collages which are offering 3 to 4 lakhs per year , jntu takes only 20 to 25 k per year with decent quality of education .even for some students ,they can get fee reimbursement based on the ecomical level they belong to. For example some elgible students can get full fee reumbisment based on the cateogory and ecomical line. some students gets merit scolar ships based on eamcet rank. Jntu provides much quality education at very low prices in this competetive world.

we have 4 annual fests ,predominant fest which cse students only participate and compete each other ,it is PIXEL.in other annual fests all departments students participate ,fests include technical and nontechnical games in which students compete each other.winners are provided price money upto based on the game.technical include coding skills,hackathon.non technical include chess and freefire.even certificates are provided which will be useful in future.as per now clubs are not much developed but we have singing club,dancing club,photography ,coding clubs.

Admission process for jntu is very common competetive exam in andhra pradesh state known as eamcet examination. it is one of the most demanded exam which provides chance to get into top government collages in which jntu anantapur is one of the top government colleges. I got admission through eamcet with the rank 4374. the chance of getting into jntu uphold untill 9k for general 12 k for obc and even low for sc, st and pwd candidates. the only thing I dont like is the duration of admission process and for counselling. colleges are much delayed compared to many colleges. eamcet exam is for 3 hrs and 180 questions for 180 marks each with no negitive marking.i scored 87/180 to get my rank and admission in jntu.

Jntu faculty are very experienced in terms of knowldge and subject.Most of professors have done their PHD in prestgious institutions . the subject knowldge they provide to students is very effective and the kind of environment they provide during the teaching is vulnerable. coming to the interaction with the faculty members ,they are very often interactive with students . the faculty provides information which feels like a wonderfull experience with them. finally i am much satisfied with the quality of education,knowldge they provide in respective subject which is beyond the limits of any exams . And i feel very comfortable in interaction with them for acadamics.
