- the campus feels like home specially if you are a hostel student, strolls at night are the best.
- Good sports exposer, if you are an athlete, you surely are going to get better here
- A lot of functions and fest everytime everywhere, you get to participate and socialise a lot if interested
Dislikes
- there are no internships or placement opportunity provided in our course
- there are not many clubs in here, there should be more clubs which coordinate and work properly
Course Curriculum Overview
The only specific aspect that influenced me to choose this course is PASSION. Well history teaches us a lot, we can dive into it and grow intellectually. there can be more practicality involved in the course curriculam. we have 2 semesters and 2 internals each year, and the difficulty level is moderate to hard.
Fees and Financial Aid
Ravenshaw is very affordable as it is funded by government, my total course fee is only about 5000-6000 rupees. and hostel charges 12000 per year with 1200 compulsory mess fee each month. there are a lot of scholarships available.
Campus Life
There are various functions and fests held in our college. Flashmobs are there too. mostly the functions and fests are in winter as we have our annual hostel competition and function of each hostel that time. There are two libraries, with a lot of resources and books available. If you are a sports person, you surely are going to get a lot of exposure here.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is very affordable but we have to share room with 5 or 4 other people which can get tiring. meal is very poor. registration is done right after admission, and it's also through merit.
Admission
You are selected on the basis of merit, they see your 12th percentage. the admission is through Sams portal online. reservation benefits can be availed. Well the areas for improvement are after the selection if the fee and other office paper works are made online it could be much faster and easier.
Faculty
Faculty is good, some are friendly some are not. But most of them are good. and few have extraordinary knowledge which they would love to share with you. they help a lot in case of need. and are sometimes strict, attendance is taken strictly as they will call your parents and deduct marks in internal if low in attendance
