- The vibe and the environment at chitkara is really great. The crowd here is scrutinized and cheerful.
- The faculty members are very helpful and they provide extra care for you.
- There are a lot of events and competitions going on every day .so, you get a chance to be involved and enjoy.
Dislikes
- There is too much work load at times and the pressure is there
- The gate pass permission system is too hectic.
- The mess food is not good, it definitely needs improvement
Course Curriculum Overview
Some courses are great and very interesting but sometimes aame topics are repeated multiple times. Overall it mostly depends on the faculty members and their knowledge. But the module system doesn't give much knowledge about the subjects and the semester system makes the subject too boring. Also the exams are quite difficult but if you study you can easily score good grades
Internships Opportunities
Big giants like. Google, adobe , paytm, ibm, infoysis, tata consultancy, sprouts, naykaa, and many more have offered internships in chitkara with an average package of ranging from 7lacs -20 lacs per annum.
Placement Experience
It depends on various courses. For some of them the internships start after 1 st yaer but in my case the internships start at the end of 5th semester. And big tech giants like google ,microsoft come for placements and highest package was 1cr. Almost 80-95% get the placement also some companies see the skills and not the marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
My tution fee is quite high , because of the variety of courses i have chosen and also my batch size is very small. And with time there is a 5% rise in my hostel fee too. My complete tution fee is around 620000 in which 20000 is the security ehich i can get a refund at the end. There is no such scholarship or financial aid. There is a good system for campus placements and internships with okay ish stipends
Campus Life
There are alot of fests, events and competitions going on every day in different parts or schools of the university. Also there are a hefty of student groups, cultural associations , sports activities and co curricular activities going on.
Hostel Facilities
The room space provided is good and there is good facility for laundry too. The hostel fee is affordable looking at the inflation. But the cons are the mess food not being good and the gate pass approval process being too hefty.
Admission
They demand 60% marks in 12 board exam as the eligibility criteria but they do take admission for children as low as there can be . I have a module system .so, i have exams at the end of every month and they are of medium - hard difficulty level. In admission process, the paper work should be reduced.
Faculty
I've been here since past 2 years and i enjoy myself at the university. I am an academic scholar and a sports enthusiast as well . I take interest in cultural activities like dance and music too.
