All you need to know about JNTUH

The curriculum includes theoretical and practical practices. We have large equipments in our labs and the labs got renovated recently. There will be site visits to acquire practical knowledge. the semester exams are conducted once in every 4 months and the difficulty level of paper is normal but the correction is tough.

As it is very important in your course in final year. As we have very good professors , we got our internships under their guidance. They have many contacts with which we can get internships. My friends doing their internship in big psu's.

The placements are use to be nice since last year. But due to recession the opportunities got reduced just like in every other reputed institutes. But most of my seniors got placed decently with an average pacckage of 7-8lakhs. Students who are interested in civil services or other givt exams can utilise the libraries as our university library is the biggest in the state.

A student who secured his admission in this college can avail state scholarship if he belongs to Telangana state. And if he is eligible the total college fee is paid by the government of Telangana under epass scholarship and many private companies related to different streams offer scholarship to the merit students by their academic performances.

The campus life is good. As the college located at centre of the Hyderabad city.There are cultural, social clubs.the campus covers a land about 100acres. There's a big ground in which various sports can be played and a indoor stadium, University and College libraries with lakhs of books, a huge auditorium. Every year different departments celebrate their fests respectively in their departments.

The hostel facility is good, you have to apply for a admission in hostel . There will be a form which is to be filled when you come for orientation programme. There is no fee for staying in hostel after admission, but you have to pay for having food, it won't be more than 3k every month. The food is ok.

To get seat in this college you have to write tseamcet(aka tseapcet ). The cut off for different courses various every year. At present to get a seat in civil engineering you have to secure atleast 30k rank in tseamcet. There is no GD or Interview to get seat in this college, just you have to secure a decent rank in qualifying exam i.e, tseamcet.

The faculty have an average experience of 30yrs in this field and they did their PhDs from highly reputed iits. They interact with students. Every faculty member is alloted to a student as a mentor. The faculty expect more from students and they are ready to share their knowledge.
