- GL bajaj basically focus on academics in the freshman year and really helps you to get throught it
- From 2nd year onwards trying to make student learn about their field is prioritised
- Provides good placement opportunities mainly in tech field
Dislikes
- Too much focus on academic in first year which in some case might ruin the college experience u wanna enjoy
- As of 2024 , BTech classes do not have AC facilities
- Attendance is given very high priority , sometimes even call parents to inform that you did not attend college regularly.
Course Curriculum Overview
Basically the college is affiliated to AKTU , which decides what need to be taught . In first year the concepts dont seem to have any relivance to what i am gonna study from 2nd year onwards . But thats how it goes in all over india . But after 1st year its really good and really helps in placement
Internships Opportunities
Colleges provide internship drives in 3rd year which is mandatory to take part in . Also students are allowed to get internship from their side after 3rd semester. College also helps you to get started with your internship period
Placement Experience
College is really known for its placement and i would also agree on that many big companies come to this college to offer placement. College also arranges different events so that student are well prepared.
Fees and Financial Aid
When i got my admission it was 1st year : 161000 + 7500 exam fee 2nd-4th : 151000 + 7500 exam fee (yearly) But i think we are having a hike this year and will see a increase in fee with 20000 every year We do get scholarships but from UP government. Thier is no campus employment.
Campus Life
Apart from placement and academic this college seems to lack in social activity and infrastructure. You are really into enjoying your college life with many events hosted by college . This might not be the place for you.
Admission
There are 2 modes to get admission: 1. Direct admission : Since this college is building name and reputation one really need good marks in PCM to get direct admission for my course BTech IT you gonna need atleast 87% to get admission. 2.Counselling : Since college comes under AKTU , aktu holds a counselling process where you apply with your JEE marks and like all other counselling are selected based on no of people applying and your rank. My rank was 381000 but since i am UP resident and belong to OBC cast got and reservation and got my admission
Faculty
As being in the 2nd sem of my college , I think the teachers are not really open about their qualifications but they do seem good enough to make us feel like we are understanding just enough we need to.
