Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course 10/10 as it is a well-distributed course over the semester. Tutorial exams are regularly conducted and are the easiest to score. They hold less weight than midsem and comprehensive exams. The midsem exams are conducted in the mid of the semester and have half the syllabus. The comprehensive exams are conducted at the end of the course and is of the highest weightage they are difficult to score

Internships Opportunities

Good placement cell is there and it feels that we are insured of getting a good placement in the campus. The interview process is the same as in other colleges. Internships are provided to help develop experience

Placement Experience

On the end of second last semester the students are eligible for placements. Many companies visit the campus. 95% students are placed in the campus. Average package is about 25 lpa. The placement cell is very good

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available for the poor deserving candidates. Merit cum need scholarship is given to the best students who are poor but good in studies. The fee is 2500000 for the whole 4 years.

Campus Life

BOSM sports event September end Oasis cultural fest October end Apogee tech fest April start Library very good and well resourced. Sports and ground are well maintained and regularly inspected. Clubs and department help in overall personality development

Hostel Facilities

Fan light table bed chair almirah are provided. Meals are good and well nutritious. Menu is regularly changed according to the season. Good food is served taking care of the students. The pitstop helps in buying items in the mess only

Admission

Bitsat exam is conducted to intake the students in the college. 75 per cent is required in pcm and 60 per cent overall in closed 12th board exams. No reservations are there in the college. The bitsat exam is easy and ncert based

Faculty

The teachers are highly professional and trained in their respective fields. Ratio is well maintained and everyone gets a chance to get their doubts cleared. Their approach is easy and easy to understand. We can interact in lecture or chamber hours weekly

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

BITS Pilani- A relevant review of Pharmacy

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
