Course Curriculum Overview

The course of this Fisheries Science is excellent with ample number of opportunities in various sectors and fields. One can easily involve in it and progress further to achieve their dream. Their are various sectors such as businesses, Fishery managements etc.

Internships Opportunities

Popular company such as Godrej and other MNCs visit to offer students with great opportunities to students to boost their confidence and enhance their skills. Seminars are conducted on frequent intervals to provide proper knowledge to the students and motivate them.

Placement Experience

Placement is excellent. Average package went this year was 3 lakhs. Popular companies Godrej, fish feeding etc. visit with great opportunities and offers for students. Course is excellent and provides best opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fee is 336000 and it is easily affordable by everyone l. To make it more smooth University provides various scholarships programmes to students so that they can smoothly study without any obstacle and achieve their dream and become successful.

Campus Life

Campus is lush green and their majorly two events are conducted per year Grand Freshers and Fest. Books are easily accessible from the library. Facilities are superb. Sports are highly prioritised and tournaments are conducted on regular intervals. Various clubs such as dance, music, economic and sports are there to enhance the students talent.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is excellent with 24/7 Wi-Fi electricity and water supply. Rooms are equipped with two beds chair and table and almirah with two person sharing and food menu is diverse with great taste.

Admission

Admission process was very smooth. Student have to apply online on the official website of university then he or she will be contacted by the officials of university. On the final day of admission student will have to be present in the physical mode and finally get admitted in the university.

Faculty

Faculty members which includes respected professors and lab attendants are excellent. Professors are highly qualified and their flow of knowledge to the students are avery smooth. They are very supportive and act like a backbone for students.

My experience was very interesting while pursuing my graduation in The Neotia University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam pattern was good. Moderate paper was there. Examiner had done a great job. For the curriculum we always had to pay extra money. In our 7th sem, we had all India tour, we did have any practical classes or theory exam still we had to pay for the practical and library not only that we had to pay for the trip as well.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year,students are eligible for placement.There are many companies like Godrej Agrovet,Nexgen etc. comes every year. Average package is around 6 lakh per year. Approx 10-13 students got placement every year.

My college my opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty of the university is very experienced about the course. The Faculty to students ratio is nearly 1:10. Every semester has two exams. One is mid-term exam which is organized internally for 30 marks and another one is end term exam of which questions are external and for 50 marks. There are also practical examination of 20 marks. Each students has to qualify both theory and practical exam in order to get dgree.

Fishery is a best couse to save job

After B.F.Sc 4th yr students are eligible for the campusing there are few companies like Godrej, IBM, Agrofet are visited this college for campusing Average package as per companies varies with their condition but 550000 is an average package of every student

I am a 2 nd year student, so I can't know about placement. When government announce for F. E. O post student get placed. 100 student get placed for feo in 2020 . Lots of fish farm and fish company is here

My vision to BFSc

Placement Experience:

It's not fixed at all. Placement is in the hands of the HOD of various departments. After a bachelor's degree students can easily afford on or off-campus with 3-4LPA. After my bachelor's degree, my personal plan is to complete MFSc as after the completion of my post-graduate job profile would be higher than BFSc.

Placement Experience:

Being a professional course as it is, the main goal is to train and create entrepreneurs who pioneer in the art of Pisciculture, its administration and management. Students can also apply for Government jobs, or participate in government funded projects in central research institutes, furthermore they can sought for higher education and research themselves, Choose teaching as their profession, and also seek a position in private fishing industries that are based generally on the culture and post harvesting, which is a highly profitable scope as well. Recruiters generally come towards the last semester in the final year. And students are eligible to apply from the (4rth year) final year itself. Almost all students are placed. I completed my master's from here from the Department of Fisheries Engineering and Technology and on completion am seeking opportunities for a PhD.

My Second Home

Placement Experience:

In the 4th year, students are eligible for campus placements. Students studying here mainly aim for Fishery Extension Officer (Govt. Post) but due to conflict of the demands, the recruitment is halted for now. Campus placements are not at all regular. The companies that visit here are CP, Biostadt etc. The faculty is planning to open a recruitment cell for regular campusing.

Me and College

Remarks:

College management committee has done an excellent work in maintaining the integrity of thr campus. With fewer student density, the association among the students and teachers had been a blessing. Not to worry about non academic staffs are helpful in their own ways giving this campus a glossy look.

Admission can be taken here only after completing higher secondary from a legitimate institution. This college has its own website on Google, from there the admission process can be completed. One can sit for the final semester exam by taking the two main tests of each semester. I have no idea about improving the admission process...Read More
