Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty much same as all computer science and engineering branch. Although, it does not really prepares you for real world application but it is good as theoretical subject. Each semester has 2 theoretical examinations the mid-term exams and a end-term final exam along with other evaluation components.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for placements. Various companies like BNY, Ola, google, etc. visited the campus. The average package of the cse branch is around 14-15 lakhs. And the highest being 50+. Almost 80-85% of registered students get placed, although this number is going down drastically due to the ongoing recession.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a hike of 10% tuition fees every year, although sometimes these are relaxed but not every time. The complete cost of the education will be around 20 lakhs. There are many financial assistance available for less privileged people but they are hardly of any use.
Campus Life
Every year the tech fest "Plinth" and the cultural fest "vivacity" are organized. They are held around February- march. The LNMIIT has a one of a kind library, it includes all kinds of books from fictional to educational. Sports and extra-curricular activities offered on campus are not that great and there is a room of improvement in this regard. There are many student run social groups and club. These create a life long impact on you and gives you the opportunity to express yourself.
Hostel Facilities
Basic Amenities like table, chair, cupboard, shelf are provided. Some hostels have air ducts while some air conditioners. As far as meals are considered, they are average, although better than other colleges I've heard of. You can't rent a room or pg nearby as there are none. The campus is situated in the outskirts of Jaipur.
Admission
You should have at least 90+ percentile in the jee mains examination to get a admission. The cutoffs for the cse branch can go as high as 97. There is a no reservation policy, you can find the application form and all the deeds on the official college website.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good enough to cater all the students. All the professors are highly qualified and helpful. Each teacher has a different approach of teaching. You can interact with them almost anytime.
