Likes

The way students are divided into different classes not based on merit
Hostel fees is very cheap compared to any other college. It is 16k for girls and varies from 20k-25k for boys

Dislikes

Research scholars when given a class to teach, absolutely destroy the experience and understanding of the subject

Course Curriculum Overview

As Iam still a first year, my professional course module is yet to be examined and studied. Coming to the core subject in first year, they taught us programming in c language and object oriented programming in cpp. Learning c was great cuz we had an amazing teacher. Whereas coming to cpp, the teacher assigned to us was shit, she was a research scholar.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As Iam still a first year I don't know much about this, but sastra do offer internship and placement training during sem holidays. One of the seniors I know landed an internship in phonepe for a stipend of 1L per month

Placement Experience

There is campus placements in sastra. In fact most of the students gets placed through campus placements from what I have heard from my seniors. Main recuters are PayPal. Paypal offered highest package of 44 low in 2024

Fees and Financial Aid

When u first join, u are asked to pay 90k for the first sem and 75k for the next one. Students who score above 9.1 cgpa can avail scholarship. Hostel fees for girls round ahoy 16k/yr and mess fees is around 4K every month

Campus Life

They are six fests in total. Three mini and three big. Three mini fests take place in the odd semester and three big take place in even semester that is summer semester. The main students run clubs are kuruksastra, Daksh, 300 dp, Ecell and many more

Admission

I belong to general category.during the admission process I was asked to submit my tenth grade, 12th grade marks along with my jee score. I got seat through jee mains as I scored 95 percentile. As I belong to Andhra Pradesh state board they don't offer any reservation for it. They do offer reservation for Tamil Nadu students.

Faculty

Most of the faculty are very qualified. They are graduates of very reputed universities. But research scholars are just a loss. Few teachers aren't great in conveying their knowledge. Few of them doesn't know how speak English properly which makes it difficult for them to interact and teach in a way that other state students can understand

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Yaahh I had appyfor other colleaes also like lpu ,vit, EAMCET.. reason is why iam not joined in that college is to 1.in lpu I got seat alsoo but that college is soo waast and for me it will be more distance.2.in vit i didn't get cse so I rejected it .in EAMCET i am not interested I got below 20k rank but...not went to that .
