Course Curriculum Overview

4

The reason I chose my current course is due to it's versatility and mostly because of its core and hardware elements in which my interest leans towards. The college adds additional chapters or subjects and also gives us an example on its real-world applications with which we can solidify our basics and understanding of the subject. Our college mainly uses a blackboard to teach so I think that it will be better to use a smartboard with interactive slides to engage the students. The pre-final exams of our college takes place one after another and Is a type of mock test wheras for the annual exams they provide 3-4 days between exams for studying effectively with less pressure, their difficulty level generally ranges from easy-moderate as the teachers prepare us sufficiently

Internships Opportunities

5

Our college has an exclusive contact with qualcomm and conestoga where the students are offered an internship with a stipend of approximately 8k rupees. Various projects such as BEE website portal and a hijama app has been developed by the students of our college due to the experience that they earned during their internships.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for capus placements from the 5th Or 6th semester Many companies such as accenture,Microsoft,Conestoga, dell, qualcomm, google, amazon and many more have been visited and yearly we can get an average of 600 offers. The highest package received was 8 lakhs and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Approximately 60% of students get placements whereas other students go into business or opt for higher studies. I plan on specialising in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning whilecompleting my Master's

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as I know there is no such policy in our college but it may change in the future due to various factors that may effect the board of education that our college is affiliated with. The complete cost of my education is around 1,03,300 with 93,000 being the tuition fees and 9300 being the service fees and around 1000 rupees for renting materials and for photocopies. In my state scholarship is granted to most students from minority communities bases on their castes and the tuition fees of the college is covered with it with sometimes an extra 1-2k as well and various other schemes are also included with which help hostel students can afford their meals which grant around 5-6k per month for their monthly consumption of food. there are various clubs in our college. One such club is the codewave hub or CWH for short which teaches students coding and I am one of the members which markets the club and sometimes we get stipends worth 1-2k with a certificate of our expertise.

Campus Life

4.5

Our college regularly hosts events such as freshers party, farewell party, annual day, annual food stalls, traditional day, along with many skills workshops and hackathons. The overall experience is good as we do not have a boring routine. There are various clubs that the students can involve themselves into and there are various facilities also provided for the clubs. We have a diverse college library. You can find any book in the library related to your syllabus which are upto date along with some other books that may be beneficial to us. The classrooms are equipped with a smartboard with good air conditioning to suit the students comfort towards learning. The sports club is equipped with various gym equipment and also sports items with a vast grouwhich idis around 1500-2000 sq yards which is also equipped with goal posts along with a seperate ground for basketball. There a various groups such as microsoft SC google developer SC and Codewave hub which increases our skillset.

Admission

Anyone is eligible for the course as long as they have a good track record in the 10th boards and intermediate board exams the eamcet ranks don't matter much to our college as they usually take it into consideration. The application form can be found at our college's admission office and you can also ask the faculty in charge the application fees and application dates they will be happy to help you. If you pre-reserved a seat then the application process will become much easier for you. Our college has two different types of exams quarterly and annual exams. The quarterly exams are generally on the difficult side to alert the students to study seriously and they are done consecutively wheras the annual exams difficulty level ranges from easy to moderate level and they give around 3-4 days for the students to study. The admission process can be more efficient if more staff is appointed at the admission office to cater multiple students for admissions simultaneously.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty to student ratio is fabulous as there is always someone to help you. Also there is a mentor system where a teacher guides 20 students on what to do. The faculty has years of experience and most of them have done their master's abroad they have a calm and composed demeanor towards teaching and mentoring. The teachers are very friendly and interactive so they do not hesitate to solve your doubts on the spot and encourage and motivate students to study. They also do not point out any students which make them easy to approach
