My college dairies

The curicculum is well designed by the authors. They covered everything in the syllabus what a student requires. The exams are also well organised and the paper setting standard is very nice. One of the suggestions for improvement is to include more practical things in the curriculum.

Our college is having 7 branches. CSE, ECE, MECHANICAL, CHEMICAL, EEE, MME, CIVIL. The placements are high for CSE and ECE Also for EEE. They will get an average package of 5-6 lakhs LPA. Also some extraordinary students get packages upto 25 LPA. Last year 5-6 girls from mechanical were placed in Cameroon with 6 LPA. Two mechanical students placed in BHEL with 12 LPA. Fine the placements are fine but it also needs a lot of improvement.

For the students whose father's annual income is less than 1.5 lakhs, scholar ship will be provided. The total fee for six years is: PUC course fee: 45000 per year Engineering course fee: 50000 per year Mess and hostel fee: 90 rupees per day The students whose parents are govt officials should pay all the fee by their own. For normal students scholar ship will be provided by the college.

Education standards are good. Infrastructure is very nice. Student teacher interaction is nice. Mess food is not at all good. Only old Student clubs are being funded by college. They don't want to give funds to new clubs. Our college encourages sports and games. Administration need to be improved.

Our hostel very nice and very clean. Each room is allocated to 3 persons. We will be provided with beds, cost, racks and pillows. The hostel is completely free of cost for non governmental employees sons.

Actually the admissions are taken based on the 10th board marks of students. But if I talk about my admission, it was different. Iam a corona batch passed student. No 10th class board exams were conducted to us. So we entered RGUKT by taking a cet exam. I got an overall rank of 1400 in the cet exam and I got seat in RGUKT, Nuzvid. But now the admissions are purely based on the 10th board marks. You can check the admissions process in www.rgukt.in. The admissions for the academic year 2024-25 are in progress right now. The reservation is also applicable.

The minimum qualification of any faculty in our college is Masters in the respective field. In our Mechanical Department, all the faculty are having Doctorates. The teacher to student ratio is 1:30. The teachers are well educated. They not only teach the subject but also concerns about students personal problems. They said us to prepare for competitive exams like gate, upsc, ies etc.
