The life of a VITian

Curriculum is very good with one of the only few countries in India with 0% attendance policy for 9+ cgpa holders. The curriculum does also provide real world knowledge with projects and internships involved in the credit policy. Exams are conducted thrice 2 cats(internals) and one fat (semester end exam). They're quite hard and standard level to a world class University

We can do many projects with the assistance of the faculty or with the clubs which are highly supportive and active, for internships we need to apply manually or TCS is planning to give free internships for those who didn't get one(the plan is still ongoing )

There is a100% placement for my college with an average of 9.23 lpa and maximum upto 1 CR pa, which i believe is an excellent for a college with upto 50k students all the years combined.I guess students are eligible for placements from 3rd year itself where we can get good ppo's from the companies. We get good companies like Google, Microsoft, Wipro,ibm ,etc with TCS and Infosys having mass recruitments.

They may increase the price a bit as they are building new hostels and academic blocks as well. My total expenditure will go upto 5 lpa per year including everything. Many scholarships are available though i don't remember the names. There are many clubs and chapters and an incubator which is very popular due to its high efficient entrepreneurial activities with many new startups going on.

The campus life is very good with good friends and very active clubs and chapters with Gravitas, Riviera, and yantra as the most popular and biggest cultural and technical fest of South India. The ieee club is a part of the worldwide association (which i am also a part of). The library here is huge and has many books inside with 4 floors of books and internet facility wherever you go in the campus. Sports and gym facilities are also available

We have a table a chair a bed(either bunkerbor normal), it completely depends upon how much u pay for the hostel, the quality of the hostels is very good, the mess is a problem here some of them are very good while some of them are tasteless, the one i had for my first year was tasteless and bad, I'll surely get a better mess the next year, mostly all the hostels have a separate mess, pg is not suggested but available outside the campus

I got 13k rank in viteee exam to get a category 3 cse iot branch, the exam is held once in a year, you'll find the application for the exam online or you can enquire the admissions on the website for the dates. The exam is moderately hard but even for a good exam u get a decent rank and there is high variance for the rank with the marks

The faculty to student ratio is very good i don't know the stats but it is one of the finest in India. The faculties are highly professional and knowledgeable mostly PhD holders. Teachers can be very well spoken with and quite friendly also
