Likes

The faculty of BAJMC course is very supportive. As well as well versed about the course.
Consists various labs that helps in exposure.
Internship opportunities are good. Provides opportunities in various fields.

Dislikes

Exposure is lesser than expected. As a BAJMC student, expected a lot more field visits than conducted.
Campus infrastructure is quite small. Could expand the area so that it is more spacious.

Course curriculum was relevant. Our syllabus was well structured in terms of real world applications. Offered knowledgeable information that helped us during our Internships. Even they provide sufficient time to prepare for exams.

College provides us some nice internship opportunities like Professional Utilities, Prius Communication, etc. . Companies were searching interns for various roles like, video editor, cameraperson, digital marketing, content writer, etc.

College placements are good. Placements is provided for those who are in 6th Semester. Zomato, Bajaj, Professional Utilities, Prius Communication are such names that are invited to college to provide placements to students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 130000. The fee structure is accurate in terms of the knowledge offered. College provides numerous opportunities for scholarships for those who need it. Along with it, the college provides financial aid to students that need it.

Campus Life

My campus life was quite good. Gained a lot of experience professionally and personally. College provides all facilities that helped me have a great time in college. There are numerous clubs like NSS, Frames, Udyami, etc.

Admission

I took CUET exam and found cutoffs very reasonable. Even during the admission process everybody were very approachable and helped us solves any queries that we had. The College provides reservation benefits .

BAJMC faculty is very supportive. Definitely helped a lot to gain exposure in this field. Their mentorship helped us understand a lot of complex topics. They are very approachable in case of any issues.

The placement cell of our college is functional and active. The chances depend on the course that you have opted for. The placements are really good for commerce, economics, Maths, Stats but for the other department's students it might be a bit challenging to find a company of their domain. The students become eligible to sit in placement from 5th semester. The companies that visit my college are Godrej, BCG, McKinsey, Nation with Namo, Blackstone, Accenture, KPMG, EY, citibank, microsoft and Amazon etc.

The Glimpse of DSJ

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate my course four out of five because in journalism is a field where people are not about so much. The main stream media does not show the real problems and challengs of the country. They live in a bubble of their own. Many of the times they provide miss information to the people which hurts the hearts of the people. They do not cover multiple aspects of media. The exams in the daj is not so hard you can easily pass it by just 4 to 5 days of preparation.

Placement of our college is pretty good almost 80% students get good placement but at the same time its very important to know that you will get college placement at end of you masters as DSJ provides Five year integrated programme in journalism. Ethereal experience at TIPS

I applied for IITM in Janakpuri and Maharaja Agrasen I could get admission in these colleges but I chose TIPS because the crowd and IITM is not good and Maharaja Agrasen is very far away from my house so I ended up taking admission in TIPS as it is close to my house. I got rejection from Maharaja Surajmal as my rank in IPU CET exam was not up to the mark to join Maharaja Surajmal. the admission process of my college was smooth, I gave the IPUCET exam which is held by the Indraprastha University after the results we have to make a priority list for the colleges we want to take admissions in.
