Course Curriculum Overview

I always felt attached to literature even during my school time I used to score very good marks in literature only while this was the subject that I gave less time to.... So, talking about Hindi Sahitya when I started my graduation with this particular subject it felt like I am connected with roots as it is so close to my culture, my social life and the things that I always feel connected with.... This college provides the best classes and I don't think there is anything to improve but we faced problems as that was COVID time and our classes have been disturbed for the long time but when offline classes started it was all sorted. We had semester wise exams and the questions of paper comes only what was covered in syllabus and explained by our professors well.

Fees and Financial Aid

During admission I payed just 2400 And in second semester it was 500 In every even semester fee was nearly 2000 And in every odd semester it was 500 Nearly I hope it was 10000 (college fee) And apart from this there was mess fee in hostel including the number of days you take advantage of. I never applied for any scholarship as my parents are government employee

Campus Life

5

Each every festival is celebrated there in very interesting way like Holi, Diwali, Navratri, etc. But the Basant Panchami is celebrated at different level students enjoy a lot apart from events like spandan has its own place anyone can search about on Google. We have two Library one was our college library ( mine- MMV) and the other was Central library of bhu, and Central library of bhu holds good rank in all over India so availability of books is obviously up to Mark... Many extra curricular activities like sports debate, etc. held in different-different faculties interested students get proper platform to enhance their skills here... Students run social media accounts to help new students with regular information's about academic and cocurricular activities.

Admission

I given entrance exam which bhu itself was taking that time. ( now it is done through CUET) MAXIMUM MARKS was 360 And I get 158 (negative marking) Year- 2019 At that time cutoff was low as pattern of paper was changed that year. I belong to general category so didn't get any reservation. Students get counseling letter if comes under cutoff at that time and after counseling you just have to take admission within 24 hours on the same day when you get sms for the same.

I was student of Hindi Hons and the number of students in my course was extremely high If I compare with other courses but it helped us to interact with a large number of students and improve our personality. Talking about interaction with teachers, it was just like our school we never faced any problem to approach to our professor while we have there contact number too so that we can contact them anytime if needed.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith - [MGKVP], Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education)
Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA curriculum in my college at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) for the 2025–2026 academic year is structured under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making it academically comprehensive but traditionally theoretical. It follows a six-semester system that offers a wide range of subjects, from core Humanities (History, Political Science, Hindi) to modern electives and Vocational courses (e.g., Nutrition, Yoga, or Digital Literacy), providing students with a multidisciplinary framework. In terms of relevance, the syllabus is exceptionally well-suited for students aiming for government services and competitive exams (UPSC/UPPSC), as the depth of social science subjects mirrors the state and national civil service patterns. However, its professional comprehensiveness is lower; while the curriculum includes internal assessments, presentations, and project work to build soft skills, the actual delivery remains focused on rote learning and theory rather than industry-ready practical training. Consequently, the course is highly relevant for an academic or administrative career path but requires significant self-supplementation (internships or external skill-building) for those seeking immediate roles in the private sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced syllabus, which includes both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is designed in a way that builds a strong foundation in core subjects while also introducing advanced topics gradually. This helps students understand subjects deeply rather than just studying for exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam, the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.
