Good college for people who really strive for development. Facilities are there and you are advised to pick it and no one will be forcing you.
Entrance Preview
No entrance Examination. I got seat through Tamil Nadu Engineering Counselling. At the beginning, I wanted an Engineering college near Madurai. One of the reason was its disciplinary activities which I heard from a friend.
Course Curriculum Overview
Everything under Anna University Trichy. It was good and electives were given in a well acceptable manner. Project criteria and the evaluation were good and genuine.
Internships Opportunities
No internship were provided for us. Only industrial visits and participation in competitions and events conducted by IEEE. Our college had a IEEE student branch in it.
Placement Experience
Placements were mainly organised by Anna University and some by our management. I do not know actual count of how much got placed.
College Events
Symposiums State level,Electronics Workshop,YUVAPARVA Cultural Event (National Level),Quality Circle - Group of students involving in management activities, knowing and acting on the problems faced by students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Anna University Fee structure acceptable. Adding to that scholarship were also given. As I got the seat through merit I was not charged any additional fees only Anna University Quoted fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not applied for loans. My friends did and everything was under the control of Anna University. Even the scholarships were sponsored by the University.
Campus Life
Good environment,Opportunity for day scholars in sports are less. Debates and competitions are up to your personal interests. They neither force you nor ignore.
Hostel Facilities
I was a day scholar. My friends were very positive on the facilities and food provided in hostel. You can opt for rooms in sivagangai. Very cheap and quality rooms are available with mess facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
Active association of alumni. Recently they have created a e-magazine stating the achievements by our alumni. Alumni association meets twice in a year for the development of the college.
Exam Structure
Anna University Exam Structure are always fine. Gaps between the exams were provided for study. Only arrears were conducted in a hurry. We had exams both Morning and evening for arrears.
Faculty
Good and friendly. Only problem was that when I reached 3rd year I got professors and until then there were lecturers. Good understanding between the management and the departments.
