- Regular classes are taken for every subject and teachers are quite supportive and helpful..NCC and NSS is also there in college our various cadets have attended Republic Day Camp at New Delhi and recieved cash prize from governor.
- Various curricular activities are conducted time to time in all departments like poster making,debate competition, seminars,etc.
- Our Placement cell and councelling cell conduct seminars time to time to update students regarding upcoming job opportunities and even placements are provided to talented students.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not that much good that it could be, college has huge stadium but that is 600m away from main campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Biotechnology course has huge demand in private sector and also in foreign countries so I choose this cource. We were taught all the concepts related to biotechnology and exams were conducted time to time within and interval of 4 months.
Internships Opportunities
College does not provide any internship to students, there are very less ratio of students who might get placed in a company by college faculty. A exam is conducted every sem for placement and the students who gets the highest marks may get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are that much high for bsc course it is between 10 thousand to 16 thousand, and for BA course it's nearly about 6-7 thousand. Scholarships are also provided to students who belong to the EWS category. Complete cost of my education in bsc biotechnology course is nearly about 45 thousand rupees combined for 3 years.
Campus Life
Youth fest is held every year in month of November and various colleges participate in this fest. From the last 6 years DN college has maintained its position at the top, the overall trophy goes to DN college every year. DN college has also maintained its remarkable position in sports held every at inter University level.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is also good. 2 students stay in a room, they are provided with 2 beds, 2 study table, 2 chairs, 2 Cupboards. But the food provided in hostel is not upto the mark. For Applying in hostel ,you just need to fill a form after admission and submit it to hostel warden for allotment of room. If you are not satisfied with the mess food then you should opt for a PG, there are various PG in nearby locality around college area.
Admission
There is no entrance exam for admission in DN college, admissions are made on basis of your 10th and 12th standard marks. Cut off list is prepared based on higher marks. If a student has got percentage between 95 to 80 percent, he/she can easily get admission in college.
Faculty
Teachers are very supportive and helpful and even approachable, teachers are always available for assistance, even smart class are installed inside labs for better understanding and concept clearance of students. Experiments are also performed inside labs of various departments and seminars and councelling are also conducted time to time in college campus to update students about upcoming job opportunities in various government and private sector.
