Course Curriculum Overview
I did a bachelors and masters in psychology which was a wise decision. I've learned a lot. Specific courses like criminology and rehabilitation psychology being a part of the curriculum influenced my decision for sure. The teachings are comprehensive and it has prepared for the real world. The exams are really really easy if you study well, the professors ask questions which were asked in the previous years.
Internships Opportunities
Doing an internship was a major part of my bachelors and masters. I Internet at clinics, NGOs and special schools which my professors assisted me with. There was a dissertation project in the final semester, which was a huge boost to my career. The professors are very cooperative with the assignments and projects. Students are friendly too. They'll most likely help you with assignments and projects.
Fees and Financial Aid
Courses in Jamia are quite affordable. Only a few courses are expensive although but you can get scholarships for every course. My master's fees was only 7000 for a semester. So, it is evident that studying here is totally affordable. It's way better than private universities in terms of the fee.
Campus Life
We do have fests and they're grand. Well not that grand, we might not have celebrities performing in the fests but the vibe is there. There are a lot of internship experience. Internships are a major part of the curriculum. If you love acting, there's also the drama club. If you're an athlete you'll get a great exposure in Jamia. Jamia has its own renowned stadium for sports activities.
Admission
Jamia has an amazing reputation so it is hard to get into. I wouldn't say it's easy There's an entrance exam system. The entrance exam is not very hard to crack but only the best ones get in. Everything is available on the university's website from application forms to deadlines. You can find everything on the official website. The syllabus is also uploaded on the website. If you're SC/ST, Muslim, Muslim woman,Kashmiri or disabled you will get a reservation.
Faculty
The professors of some departments are really weird and arrogant for I don't know what reason, like chil. You have attend classes regularly, that's a huge issue (speaking from personal experience) jokes apart. Going to Jamia can be one of the best decisions you can make because of the memories you'll make here. The courses are very affordable and you can get a hostel easy. speaking of hostels, i think they might be haunted. Jamia Millia Islamia has an excellent reputation. Every time I tell someone I did my masters in Jamia they go.
