Review of my college - GLA UNIVERSITY, MATHURA

I am a Bachelor of technology (B.tech) student. I am studying Computer science and Engineering. This is a 4 year course. My course will be completed in 2027. I have choosen this course because I am passionate about engineering since childhood. In GLA University the coding culture is very good and it provide me many opportunities like hacathons and other coding competitions to enhance my skills. They provide me real world problems to deal and increase my thinking skills which is important for cracking interviews of various companies. Almost after every 2.5 months exams are organised.That means in each semester there are two exams . The difficulty level of exams are moderate means neither neither they r very tough nor very easy.

Internship opportunities are also available in college. Many comapnies like google , amazon , razorpay, zscalar , etc provide various internship opportunities with very good stipends. You can also work form home in these internships. Stipends are provided between rs 10 - 20 thousands.

The placement of the college is very good . Average package is 6-7 LPA and median is around 8 lakhs . Highest package offered to the student is Rs.55 laks by an Amerian consulting company and second highest package is Rs.44 lakhs by Amazon. By the end of 6th semester or starting 7th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Many comapnies like Amazon , Microsoft , TCS, Capgemini, etc visits college during placements. I am also preparing for getting highest package from this college.

For b.tech the fee structure is almost same in every stream as well as in specialiazation courses. The tution fee for one year is about Rs. 2,00,000 per annum which may increase or decrease upto Rs 10,000 depending on courses. Hostel fee is also variable , it depends on type of rooms or no . of students in one room. For a three seater room the fee is Rs.61,000 and the mess fee is Rs.38,000. GLA University also offers many type of scholarships like scholarship bsed on class 12th PCM percentage and scholarship through college entrance tests . Government scholarships are also available like UP government scholarship.

Campus life of the college is very good. Many fests are organised in college in different time of the year. The annual fest of the college is SPANDAN which is organised in the month of march - april. College has its own very big library which has more than 20K books and books are available for students. Class rooms are very organised including air conditions and smart boards . There are around 25 clubs in the college.

Hostels provided by the college are well desingned and organised and fully furnished. In room ther is table, chair , almirah, fans are provided . Cleaning of the room is done daily . Food quality in the mess is very good . Hygienic food is provided for students . Different mess menues are available for different days of week . For registration process of hostel you have to visit college.

The admission process in the college is very simple . For admission in B.tech one mest secure above 75% marks in PCM subject . Then after student have to appear for college entrance test named as GLAET. If you pass the test you are eligible for admission. You can find the application form on college website . Application fee is Rs.800 and application is open now for the admission. GLATE is an online exam of two hours where there are MCQs with moderate difficulty level from class 11th and 12th syllabus.

There are avobe 2K faculty memebres in the university and all the faculty whether they are teaching or non teaching are very good . Faculties are highly qualified and experienced . They are always ready to help students who have any doubt regarding studies as well as in life . You can reach them any time and you can also call them if they are not available in their respective cabins. They also teches us like their own child without any discrimination with anyone in the class or college. The faculty to student ratio is also not very high.
