- College provide good opportunity for coders like hackathon.
- Several hackathon arranged and active participation are also encouraged even some teachers are cooperative too.
- As you know that this college is autonomous so it's syllabus are quite small tou don't need to study whole book before exam just important topics and you are good to score!
Dislikes
- Ac is not provided in the campus premises
- Only labs are equipped with ac and class experience sucks
- They just install smart board which is off useless ,plus washroom of niet is also sucks.
Course Curriculum Overview
So as I told you previously that curriculum design by niet itself and I am very much comfortable with the syllabus subject they included.plus they also add a new subject called design thinking this subject put you in a critical situation and you have have to use your analytical power to solve solve the complex problem. It is a good subject,you will learn a lot from that.
Placement Experience
Placement of niet is like average if you score good and have a good portfolio than you good to go.4-5lakhs is average placement . Around 80%student get placed .from 6th semester companies start coming so you have to make sure that you lie in good cgpa .highest pakage is 10lakhs .my plans after the degree is to work 9-5 in mncs .and then chill out
Fees and Financial Aid
First year fees of niet is 161000 when I took addmission.from 2nd yr onwards it is 117000 .you have to submit whole fee at once, for a year. Yes , scolarship is provided by aktu and many students get that scholarship around 55000 lumsum is transferred to students account. Condition is that you should have income certificate.
Campus Life
Social life of niet sucks sometimes because they are focused on academics .Like if you are extrovert then there is no problem but for people who hesitate to interact will have no growth . Yes there are social groups in college ,clubs like technical to non technical.but some clubs works like you don't even know that the club is really exist.
Admission
I took addmission through aktu counciling .I secured rank around 350000 got cs branch. Let me specify you that cs branch does not mean computer science it means cloud computing.yes , I also came to know this later after taking addmission that it is not a core branch .so be aware of that.
Faculty
Faculties are very supportive and ready to help you and provide you with the solution. Though expection are there but like some teachers are so arogant overall faculty put their best to impart a quality education.
